There is not enough time for me to explain why the Surface Pro 11 is worth it. I have one, my wife has one and I encourage ones I know to purchase it. PROS; 1) Speed, it is fast, for every task I have used it for, even photo editing. 2) Size, just the right screen size and easy on the lap during Christian meetings. 3) Its ability to be a tablet and a laptop, that is so awesome. 4) The touch screen is extremely responsive. 5) It is not too heavy and can be carried around RC and CA with ease. 6) I use it for Public Talks and the scroll feature makes using the outline very smooth. 7) Because it is Windows, I have the JWL and Watchtower Library installed making research more enjoyable. You can't install both on Android or Apple. 8) The pen, I can take notes on several different apps and the notes will go from my scribble to readable text. 9) Battery life, when the system is set up correctly my battery will last about 10 hours. I can go on but I would like to list the only 2 CONs 1) Cost, they are expensive, but they are a future thinking device. Because they are ARM64 40TOPS NPU they are ready for Windows 12 or the next major AI Windows 11 update. If the tablet is taken care of it will last the next 12 years of Microsoft updates and OS changes. 2) Because it is an ARM64 CPU not one single printer manufacture has made printer drivers for it yet. MS was using the IPP class driver for printers but as of 2-5-2026 MS stopped IPP support to attempt to force printer manufactures to make drivers. They will, the ARM64 architecture is the future. When I tried to set up my surface pro, the screen would not respond half of the time. I could not set up the computer because of it. When I called the xompany, they referred me to YouTube and Google for answers. After trying both tools, I still could not get my computer to respond nor set it up, so I returned it. I paid $900 and was only refunded $leas than $700. That is quite the restocking fee, if that’s why I didn’t get my full refund. It is not my fault that the refurbished computer was still not up to par. I plan on messaging the retailer to find out what’s up! ... show more

    • Very surprised in a good way.
I was going to return the surface pro because they used Fedex as their delivery partner, and as expected, it didn’t arrive on time. In the end I accepted delivery anyway. As far as I can tell, I received a brand new unit. It came in what looked like factory packaging that hadn’t had the seal broken. I can’t imagine getting any “renewed” product in better shape. Time will tell on how it holds up, but as far I can tell I got a new unit at renewed pricing. I will not hold the seller responsible for any Microsoft shortcomings.
