fit quite nicely on my Can-Am Commander 4500 pound winch. I’ve always use synthetic rope’s rather than cable and just needed to swap out the cable that my new can am purchase came with. This is replacing another leading brands rope in my winch. The other brand snapped on first use but this product has held up well. The rope and hardware that are included are above average on quality and I have no doubts this will perform well for many years to come.

I use my winch pretty often, and I admittedly HATED using it with the cable! Changing to this rope system has been a HUGE game changer! No more cut up hands, it winds back onto tge winch MUCH better too! This stuff has really made my winch a ton more user-friendly...I'd definitely but it again!!

    • Install easier than thought, hope rope is tough enough

I use my winch for winter plowing on atv so doesn’t get tons of work. Was tired of the metal wire splitting not only my hands but always seemed to get pinched on spool of winch and then won’t come out. So hope the rope will not do this. Seems sturdy. However it has a flat metal piece at end that I didn’t know how to attach to winch. If it came with instructions I lost them and couldn’t find anything online. So I had to MacGyver it and seems to have worked and the tension from rope should hold it on. Sure was easier than wire and if I have to replace rope it should be easier to get off winch. The clamp seems sturdy, hope it survives the -20 below days. ... show more

The only thing that was bad about it was I had to cut the metal end off of it to get it to fit the winch on my ranger,other than that it is awsome,love the hook that comes with it

I’ve had 2 synthetic ropes from here and both have snapped in half. One was 3/16 and the other 1/4 both with over 9,000lb breaking strength. They were installed on an atv that weighs 800lbs and on a 3,500lb winch. Not of very good quality or durability. Would not recommend
