First things first, delivery was rapid, dispatched next business day, arrived the following day. Packing was solid, including both a fabric sleeve around the laptop and then a full bubble shell around that within the box. Functionality wise, the machine operates well, screen is in good condition without any burn-in or ghosting. Keyboard is clean, responds well and no backlight faults. Trackpad operates well, haptic response is functional as well. As with all of the top end Surface line-up, material quality is exceptional and performs well. Where the issues come through is the condition rating is way off, with pictures attached for context including the amazon expectations at the time of receipt. There are multiple scuffs and scratches, two corners are scraped and the bottom has an impacted corner as well as a deep scratch breaking the finish layer of the metal. The other sizable issue is the Charger Cable, which was a 65W unit from the vendor when these RTX 4050 and RTX A2000 models are supposed to come with a 95W unit so the machine constantly is warning that the charger is too slow. As a result I definitely paid too much for this and at least expect the cost difference addressed and the correct power cable to be provided. ... show more

It arrived in perfect condition, no visible scratches, worked flawlessly. So far everything has been great. However I'm removing a star because I recieved a 65watt charger which is the one you get for the i5 model with iris graphics. The laptop gives the error that the charger is incorrect and charging slow because the one for this model is meant to be the 127watt charger. I'm sure it was an honest mistake and I can just get another charger, especially with how much of a good value this laptop is. Just something to look out for. ... show more

Worst experience with Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio. The laptop arrived scratched, battery drains instantly, and it won’t even hold a charge. Totally unacceptable quality. As an influencer, I’ll be sharing this on my Instagram to warn others. I expect compensation for this defective product.

Overall, the product looks brand new upon arrival and performs well. However, after a year of use, the frequent overheating without an apparent reason has become frustrating, and the side ventilation placement is not ideal.

The battery is dead. X the lap top didn’t come charged and so I assume the laptop has been sitting uncharged for a while which isn’t good for batteries. Update: The Amazon Renewed program is a scam. BEWARE. Trying to Return the product has been the biggest hassle. They do not warn you that the 48hrs to receive a mailing label restarts every time you try to send the seller a request to send a mailing label. I have been given the run around, I will never order another renewed product from Amazon again. **update #2 the seller Prime Cellution is constantly trying to assure me the laptop works. If it was working I would not be trying to return it. They have twice tried to avoid sending me a prepaid label d tried to suggest it was the charger. If only they would look at the video I posted for this review they would know it does not work. When the laptop was shipped it didn’t even have a fragile label on the box. Whoops knows how rough UPS was when delivering the package. Maybe so it was working in their shop but it was not working when I received it. This has been a nightmare and now I’m another week out without a laptop. ... show more
