This is an incredible case for a handheld PC. I got one for an ASUS ROG Xbox Ally X and it fits the unit perfectly. It’s very easy to put on and remove, both the body armor and the screen cover, it is tough, and it is flexible to offer just the right balance of sleek storage convenience without being too bulky. All buttons and vents have adequate cutouts to keep the unit fully functional. The grips are tactile to prevent slipping and the case overall doesn’t add much weight to it. It perfectly accentuates the units buttons/features and adds a rail on the back to use either a kickstand or strap attachment (both come in the box with the case) to place the unit on a stand separate from the units own stand or to carry a portable charger on the back for prolonged mobile play. It’s also competitively priced for the great design and features it offers. I highly recommend this case for all devices it fits.

7/21/26: I want to note here but I will not deduct a star for; is the watch bands for the accessory block on back are dang near useless, they won’t hold onto much without stretching them so tight that it comes apart anyway. I’m going to use the block to attach 3M Velcro tape to my SSD pack to that. Or use the DeltaHold X Hub system with or without 3M tape to modify a SSD mounting system for ease of use and a cleaner more professional look. I will try to post pictures or a Video of the process so others can see my progress on this mod I want to do. I really think it will be worthwhile in combination with this case. I still really like this case, it’s totaL DROP PROOF! Im very clumsy in my old age with my messed up hands and it has protected my device flawlessly so far. I mentioned previously about the cooling effectiveness of the JSAUX Case and I have to say there is absolutely no worries to be had, mine runs very cool even on AAA Titles. The reason I say it’s better than the actual Killswitch Travel Case comes down to the actual cost of both items. The JSAUX Case and a Screen protector bought here on Amazon is almost half the cost of the other and they are both almost identical in form factor. I know this because I bought the higher cost case for a ASUS ROG ALLY that I thought I was going to buy but then decided to save up the additional money to buy the ASUS ROG XBOX ALLY X because it was a much more powerful Handheld. I still dislike the ergonomics of the XBOX ALLY X BTW. Then I bought the JSAUX Case for this to see about the difference. Comparing the 2 cases and the feel of both it’s easy to see that they both are great cases but there are some difference between the 2, the kickstand on the JSAUX is a lot smaller which I find to be a negative, I really wish it was bigger but I think if you are going to prop it up on its kickstand you will quickly find that buying a actual Docking Station for it will be better in the long term, I never used the kickstand feature on either of my Nintendo LED or OLED units or my Steam Deck, I used or bought docking stations for all of them. That’s what I did by buying the JSAUX Dock, I will leave a separate review on that. Also the JSAUX has an attachment system to hold a Power Bank on the back but I really see that adding a little too much weight for comfortable gameplay. The anti-slip grip pebble feel of the handholding area is fantastic on the JSAUX and it’s a lot thicker than the other but not to thick, for the other it’s a rough smoother texture and the overall thickness of the case is too thin in my opinion. The JSAUX is not some cheap flimsy case at all and I’m sure it can take a drop without any damage to the Ally X. All the cutouts are placed correctly and there is no blockage at all, the cooling vents seem to be placed correctly and should work just fine but I will have to feel it in use before I fully put my trust in that. I really can’t find a downside to this case and I like it a lot, it feels so much better than holding it naked and I plan on buying one for my Nintendo Switch 2 when I buy it. The top cover for both are a great addition and either will work fantastic. I was really looking forward to using the Actual Killswitch Case but I have now seen the competition and they really did a fantastic job with it. I don’t think you can go wrong with picking up the JSAUX brand cases, they are very economical and have just the right weight and feel to make your mobile gaming a great experience, and it looks good too. Get a Dock for stationary play with all the extended hook ups needed to play on a big screen. You won’t regret this purchase, now I just have to EBay the other Case, someone else could put it to better use.

Wow! I was torn between this and the killswitch. I am glad I waited for this. All the complaints about the killswitch seem to be solved. This is my first jsaux product. I got it with the matte screen protector and it has been a perfect combo. It doesn't add to much weight. The grips feel awesome in my hands even when I sweat in intense moments. The ports still work perfectly. Ventilation is perfect. When I put the cover on it leaves a small gap for the top vents just in case it needs to breathe and the fans run. The cover goes on easily. Putting on the case itself was easy too. Took 10 seconds. The hidden gem is the modular attachments in the back. I thought it was going to be a gimmick but I actually love them and find them useful. Unexpected bonus was that it still fits in my carry case just in case I ever decided I wanted to use it. The case I got was actually a tomtoc. It looks good, feels good, and works well. At $35, it is probably better than any other option if you are looking for more comprehensive protection. Its half the price of dbrands option. The only case where it may not be as comfortable is if you have very small hands but even then if the ally isnt already to big for you I dont think this makes the grips noticeably thicker. If you are thinking about it and like the idea of full body coverage the odds of you enjoying it is 110%. I know it seems like I am overly excited about this but no I dont work for jsaux. I am just glad that I can finally rest easy with this expensive device because it was a tad slippery without it and when I set it down it was so heavy it would land hard on the table but this fixes it.

I mainly got this case for the protective cover that goes over the sticks and screen. It works nicely for whenever I travel, I can just throw my ally x into my backpack and I know it will be fine. The rest of the case that goes over the triggers and grips is good as well. It doesn't alter the fit, feeling, or weight of the device in the hands that much, if at all. The included kickstand and strap are nice to have. The kickstand especially since with the case on, my device won't fit in any of the docks I have. I tried it on the stand that came with my ally x and one of JSAUXs' own docks and it doesn't fit. Not a big deal for me but maybe it is for you. I think this case is a better option than something more expensive like the Dbrand case.

The Jsaux hard shell case is my favorite case. I already had one for my Steam Deck, but I made the mistake of buying a different brand for my Xbox Ally. Soon after, I bought this one, and it is way better. It fits perfectly. It's light, tough, and works very well.

Absolutely love this product! I had bought a bigger bulkier zip case and it just took up too much space in my travel bag. This is a thin and sleek/ easy design that will protect all sides of the case and so far is easy to use. Would definitely recommend to anyone trying to save space and protect their rog Xbox ally x. Easy installation as well.
