I bought this as a refurb on Amazon. It looks quite new. Does not look like someone used it for a while. May be it was returned or some defect found and they repackaged it. Mine has 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and figerprint reader. I needed something super light to travel where I mostly browse but also process photos on Adobe Photoshop Elements. Seems like this works great. I can pick it up in one hand without any struggle. Keyboard and trackpad are great. Screen size is smaller but I like the aspect ratio. Watching videos, browsing and doing some tech stuff I did not fine I'll be missing anything. Touch screen seems less sensitive than my Dell laptop which is ok. Batter life is OK not great. If they can get the battery life to 13 hours with normal usage which means 18 hours to manufacturers, then this product is unbeatable. I paid around $380 refub. I have zero hesitation recommending anyone who needs a light travel laptop even instead of an iPad because it comes with a great keyboard. You can actually run photoshop to do light work. I have things like mobaxterm and visual studio code installed and can do tech stuff on this. ... show more

    • Looked brand new but was a turd.
Where to start. Powered up ok, got to the desktop ok. Fan running at full speed though. Tried for several hours to install windows updates. Would download, install, restart, crash, repair itself, uninstall failed updates and then back to the desktop after an hour. So this time I did the other updates first, bunch of firmware ones. Those went ok. Decided to do the Windows feature updates again and same thing, download, install, reboot, crash, repair, uninstall failed updates and then back to the desktop and then powered off and back in the box for a return. It’s a very good deal! This device costs originally 900 and I got the refurbished one for 400. Comes nicely packed with protective screen. You even get that new device unboxing feeling. Device was spotless, with a healthy battery. Very satisfied! (Battery was completely dead, but had no any issues after charging) 5 stars experience! (And big minus point for microsoft for not installing a backlight keyboard on a $900 device.) ... show more
