Keyboard and screen are great after almost a year of continuous use, play games like Minecraft and Rocksmith on mid settings, again the keyboard is great for programming they're definitely killing that part and personally that's one of the things I look for the most in a laptop. If I was a video editor I'd probably want to get one of the beefier processors than the Ryzen 5, I have a feeling it would lag in Premiere, though with 16gb of ram it moves most programs along pretty well. One problem is that after a while the speakers behind the keyboard will become out of sync. This can get annoying if you're listening for a long time without headphones but honestly how often does that happen. ... show more

    • Freezes up
I love this computer when it works as it should. Unfortunately it freezes every so often and the only way to free it up is to do a hard shutdown. Far from ideal when you're trying to get your work done. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars.

    • Had to return the laptop...
Loved the laptop and wish I could have kept it but there we many technical issues without solutions that made it impossible to keep. The screen and audio did not match up when watching videos and after looking for a solution, many other people in the forum said the only fix was to return the computer. For such an expensive computer, it should have all of the issues ironed out before it is sold to customers, and this laptop did not and still has issues to this day. ... show more

    • Consistent Crashing and Brightness Issues. Overheats and shuts down.
The look and feel of this laptop are excellent. No complaints with the touch screen, or keyboard like mentioned in other reviews. In fact, I actually love the keyboard, trackpad, and touch screen. Screen quality is excellent. Battery life is average. Not something I like nor dislike with this device. ALL of my issues stem from how this device runs. I use edge, which is an okay browser when it is running correctly. However on this device it consistently crashes and has to reboot. My understanding is that this issue is strictly linked to the amd ryzen rather than the software of the browser itself. I also will have my maximum brightness stuck at one level. This happens very often when you are in a dark room, leading me to believe it is an issue with the auto dimming function. From what I can tell you should be able to adjust the auto dimming feature in your settings under power plan, however this device does not have that optionality. My single largest complaint is that when you try to use even a remotely graphics intensive program (well within supported specs) the laptop will overheat and shut down. If you are going to use this laptop strictly for email / browsing, it should be okay minus the auto brightness getting stuck, and the crashing of edge (not sure if this would happen in chrome or firefox, I hate chrome due to the RAM suck it places on your device so am sticking with edge.) However I have no idea why you would be buying a 1600 dollar laptop strictly for browsing and email check. While some of these issues may not be a deal breaker for you, I personally am used to apple, which has its own set of issues, but nothing as aggravating as having your web browser randomly crash. Good luck, can't recommend buying the AMD Ryzen supported surface 3. Not sure if the intels have the same issue or not. ... show more
