wow this is amazing! thank u deal road!!!
all i can say is wow. this is a wonderful computer/tablet. i got this from this seller deal road after when i purchased on from prime buys and they pc was defected i was sad that i had to return it. i thus couldnt wait for refund so i rolled the dice and chose deal road. i received the item at a earlier time as i explained to seller if i can receive it earlier for work. im an artist so this pc/tablet was important for my business. they have been nothing but brilliant with me the customer service rocks and helped me out with issues. they answered all my questions and helped me alot. this computer is quite impressive its fast and strong. it can handle alot of processes and alot of opened apps without freezing or slowing down its so much better than my other pc! its also light and pretty.i also purchased the touch keyboard for 30 bucks which was worth it. honestly i dunno why ppl buy the other keyboard. it takes time to get used to this keyboard but its worth it! i highly recommend it and its cute. now back to the pc. its runs windows 10 pro and has a a couple of preinstalled apps. im also a musician to so im have been recording music with this as well i just bought a usb card/ adapter that had a rec. side and headphones side so i connected my mic that way since this pc doesnt have a mic jack or input, this only has a headphones jack. well thats all i have to say order only from deal roads u will not regret it!!! they are fantastic!! i have no issues w. windows 10 pro and its super fast. buy from deal road they handle everything with amazing professionalism. ... show more

Really like this Surface Pro 3
I really like this Surface Pro 3. Better than I expected and I expected it to be good. Very responsive for an i3. I got a Surface Pro 4 keyboard for the wider spaced keys and like it a lot too. I got the Surface Pro 4 pen and it works well, but I just don't know if I will use it a lot. I am a bit sorry I didn't get the 8GB of memory version since I have Photoshop on it and it can be a bit sluggish with large files. It works fine, but I guess I am spoiled with Photoshop on a desktop. But his is my fault. A desktop with only 4GB of memory might be sluggish too on a large Photoshop file. This Surface is very fast on everything else I use it for. Word, Excel, browsing the web and Outlook. It is pretty darn cool. And I like not have a hot laptop on my lap anymore. I am going to sell my laptop. I was too cheap to buy the Surface Pro 4 but am very happy with this one. ... show more

Close to perfect and Surface Type cover is essential (even considering its price)
Pros: Exellent performance Durable Beautiful design Windows 10 is much better than 7 and 8 Supports the latest Type cover Cons: Type Cover not included Pen not included Warm (but not to much) with a lot of apps open Fan kicks in a lot during game play (Normal on all laptops though) I ordered the MS Surface Pro 3 about 2 months ago and as of right now, I'm enjoying it a lot. It's really, really fast and it's and its super lightweight. The screen is stunning and the design is a head turner. The build quality totally beats the iPad I used to have. I dropped this Surface down the stairs and it stayed in perfect shape and everything still works. Microsoft was not lying when they said it could replace your laptop. This is not only a good laptop replacement, it's the best high-end laptop I've ever had (and i have had my fair share of high-end laptops in the past). It also is great for school and it is great for putting in my bag or the carrying case I got for it last week. I love the Surface Pen even though it's not included because it may seem like a toy at first but you'll be surprised once you use it. It's super powerful and great with multi-tasking even though it has 4GB of RAM. I use a program called 3DS Max and it runs great and while using it, I have a ton of tabs open, Photoshop, Pandora, and a few others and it handles it with no lag. I can honestly say Microsoft has stepped up their game in the past few years and I would buy this over iPad Pro or any other tablet any day. The only thing that can get annoying with this PC is that the fan can run loud when gaming (but that's normal on any laptop) and it gets a little warmer then my old HP while multi-tasking put it's not to hot to use and touch (and still colder than my iPad). I recommend getting the Pro 4 Type cover over the Pro 3 Type cover because they keys are more spaced out and it has a better trackpad and it works on the 3 even though it says 4. Overall, I put this push this PC to it's limit everday and it handles well. Its fast and reliable and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an Ultra Book or a professional tablet. ... show more

ecxellent tablet a+ for school and much more.
I don't know why ppl complaining about this awesome tablet. I have tried Samsung and apple tablets , is just the name btw good luck installing adobe flash player on any other device, you probably succeed adding the program but not fully operational.(like I did on my Samsung tablet). I use primarily for school and I'm so happy with it, and yea is not so grate to purchase a keyboard and screen protector and pen and a case to run your surface pro the way you wanted $200.00 extra just to spoil yourself, it is not bad investment unless you don't care for things in a long run. Everything is replaceable if your laptop, tablet, whatever you buy don't work the way you wanted simply returned the item and give the experience a new chance to make you happy. the I3 , i5, i7 are just a small incentive of speed, a bigger number is not always the best choice, you sacrifice something in order to get something else back. I'm happy with the core i3, 4gb ram and 128gb of space and windows version 10. ( I love the way my cellphone notes synchronize live with the tablet, awesome feature). there's lots of choices out there, may the force be with you. ... show more

Would not update its Windows 10 Pro version
I wanted to like it. I do like the Surface tablets generally. This one was the first I've seen with flaws. I had to return it because it would not update to new version of Win 10 Pro. The desktop icon kept prompting me to update the version for security sake. I clicked on it, and it got to 99% after about 7 hours, but would not update fully to 100%. I let it run for 3 days, three times, and had to send it back. I ordered the 2017 version with 16GB and 512GB SSD. Anyway, Amazon was courteous about the return. Gotta love that. That's why I purchased the replacement from them. ... show more

Surface Pro 3 surpassed my expectations!
The table is slightly bigger than I expected, but runs smoother than anticipated. The Intel core i3 processor runs okay for programs like steam or AutoCAD, but I wouldn't use this as a portable gaming device for obvious reasons. I will. however, say that this tablet runs really smooth with the stylus pen that you can buy for the high price of $49.99. I know it is a lot, but if you are a student like myself, in engineering, learning how to use AutoCAD or other programs like Python or Pro-E then this is great computer and laptop replacement. I love it more than my surface pro 4, so that is saying something. Remember Newer products don't necessarily mean that they are better than the older ones. ... show more

Great product - Fast and truly can be a Laptop or Tablet
This is an amazing machine. It a responsive no-kidding real laptop or a very usable tablet. My wife uses it in both modes. She'll dock it using the Microsoft dock during the day and drive a Display Port ASUS 21" monitor, external backup, external keyboard and external mouse. In the evening, she'll watch TV and catch up on her Facebook (blah) in tablet mode. She is using this dock purchased from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0163HP38W?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 ... show more

Great machine for work
Great machine for work, could handle multiple programs and or projects at a time!!! If you could get it under retail since the most recent surface pro 4 is out get it!!!, don't get into the hype of the latest and greatest if you want to be cost efficient with your money/budget. IF you're successful at getting the pro 3 on sale somehow it at least save you a good couple of hundred of dollars which you could use to but the keyboard, pen, and dock to connect it to other screens or tv screens. ... show more
