My wife found a fine Spencer microscope, circa 1946, out on the curb. The owner told her that he bought it for his son-in-law, who dismissed this fine scientific instrument because it was missing the ocular. So I'm the delighted beneficiary who bought a 16x quality ocular for under 25 bucks. Anyway, then I needed some slides to hold samples and these slides with covers fit the bill. The glass is optically clear, the sides are ground smooth, corners chamfered and the thin (0.15mm) covers fit perfectly. In addition to their high quality, these slides and covers are very reasonably priced. ... show more
