This is your basic pH down but it's not drastic at all. You can put it a little at a time on your first couple of uses so as to not overload your plant. Good stuff!

My tap water is 8.3 PH with a PPM of 80. I grow container tomatoes every year and every year I get BER. I have always blamed it on the lack of calcium but before planting I would amend the soil with dolomite lime (won't add this next year, it raises PH in the soil), bone meal, and tomato tone fertilizer. All of these products contain plenty of calcium for my plants. So long story short the PH out of my tap water was 8.3. Using this product I would add roughly 3ml per gallon to bring it down to 6.6 to 6.7. This is the first year I have adjusted the PH so let's see how it goes. ... show more

When I first bought this I poured some in a teaspoon. It’s red like koolaid. I sniffed it. It even kind of smells like koolaid. Aside from that it does adjust pH and it doesn’t take very much of it. To adjust 2.5 gallons from 7.8 to ~6.5 I only have to use two teaspoons. It is a good product.
