This one comes out of the box ready to go with no real assembly. It is just the right size for school age kids with the steering post easily adjustable. We added a little pink front basket which was a big hit and the light up wheels were a favorite too. The step on rear fender brake seems a bit hard to master for the young ones...but I guess they'll grow into it. The little kickstand keeps it off the ground. Everything folds up with the push of a button and locks in place for easy carrying. The build quality is excellent but it is not for older kids who will want a bigger board and height options. I bought this scooter for my son after he graduated from the Micro Mini. It took about a day for him to get it down and transition to this kind. I’m so glad we skipped the mini deluxe and moved him to this one. My son especially loves the kick stand. We tried a mongoose and razer scooter out and they were not nearly as high of quality as the micro. Kickboard looked fine with all the pieces and documentation, but the box was damaged and the actual kickboard box looked like it had been opened. Not clear if it was a return or not, but they didn't do a good job of repackaging and resealing if that was the case.

We love this scooter! It’s strong enough to hold adults and great for older kids too. The lights add a special touch and are able to be seen during the day. My kids love the kickstand feature. The fold isn’t the easiest but it works with a little elbow grease.

The scooter is great for my 5 year old grandson. It helps with balance and he has a few years before he outgrows it. It is adjustable with lights and a kickstand. I would highly recommend this product.

Bought this for my 8 year daughter to replace her 3 wheel micro scooter. She loves it. It glides smoothly and it can hold me (I weigh 160) just fine. The light-up wheels are a nice touch. The frame is sturdy and the blue color is nice. I think it will last her for years to come!
