This is a great scooter. Bought it as a birthday gift for my grandson and he rides it everywhere. He can get going in it very fast so if you are a bike rider or runner, it’s a fun way to get out and spend time together. They definitely need helmets because with the speed they can pick up, falling can happen. The scooter is well made, had a brake in the back wheel that isneasybfornkidw to use when they figure it out ( one foot behind the other and that foot presses down in a cover type item over the back wheel. The media could not be loaded. Worth it!! At first I was hesitant because of the price tag on this item, but it is worth every dime. We got this for my two year-old for her second birthday and she has been addicted ever since. It took a little bit of practice but it has super soft wheels and making for a smooth ride and it is so easy for her to turn just leaning left or right. It’s all smiles while we’re riding this! And it is absolutely the perfect size for her. I wouldn’t want it to be any bigger or smaller so I would say this is perfect for ages 2 to 4.
