  • Leaves room for upgrades, came in perfect condition, great for budgets
Color: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 + ASUS Prime B450M-A II
This bundle worked great, it also gives you a good chance at upgrading with the same motherboard in the future. I have not had any problems, it looks sleek, I have had no heating problems, overall a great pick for a budget or non-budget build.

  • Good combination, works well. Shipped fast.
Color: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 + ASUS Prime B450M-A II
I needed a new board and cpu for my main Windows desktop machine. The old one bit the dust in dramatic fashion and left me holding the bag with 3TB of photo's and video. Slapped a new machine together, loaded Windows on a ssd and was back at work. I use Linux for everything else but editing photo's and video. This fit the bill. ... show more

  • UPDATE: my usb kvm switch was the issue not the motherboard
Color: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 + ASUS Prime B450M-A II
Original review: Usb ports were picky to begin with now they disconnect every active usb device repeatedly anytime that usb device or devices are in use. Finally the usb ports just went heywire and my keyboard and mouse (which work on my laptop yes I checked) so much this board is rendered completely unusable…just after the return window closed. Of course that happened. Doesn’t it always? Now I’m without a computer until I get a new board. The good thing (I guess) this board was only meant to be temporary. Just not THIS temporary. So in short STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOARD!!!!!! UPDATED REVIEW: I removed my usb kvm switch because my new board was having the same issue. That solved the problem. Both boards’ usb ports are 100% working fine. In short it wasn’t the board it was the usb kvm switch I plugged into it. This board is up and running now while I wait for a b550. ... show more

Our graphic designer was struggling with his old processor and a few other key components which was making it difficult to work on 3D rendering projects, video editing and rendering files. So far, this bundle was exactly what we needed at a great value to pick up the speed on his computer system and improve the time of his renders. It was easy to install, has significantly helped in improving efficiency and quality of intense creative projects with graphics and video and has been working exactly as expected. ... show more

  • Impressive Performance and Value Bundle!
Color: AMD Ryzen 5 5500 + ASUS Prime B450M-A II
I recently purchased the AMD Ryzen 5 5500 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor Bundle, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. This bundle offers a fantastic combination of power, efficiency, and value that makes it a great choice for both casual users and gamers. The performance of the Ryzen 5 5500 is outstanding. The 6 cores and 12 threads provide smooth multitasking, and the unlocked nature of the processor allows for easy overclocking, catering to enthusiasts who want to squeeze out even more power. Whether I'm running demanding applications or playing resource-intensive games, the processor handles everything with ease. The bundle also includes a well-designed and efficient cooling solution, which helps in maintaining optimal temperatures during prolonged usage. This is a significant plus for those who want to ensure the longevity of their system without investing in an additional cooling solution. • Excellent gaming CPU and MB.
Color: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D + ASUS R Strix B650E...
The 7800X3D has to be one of the best CPUs ever made. Excellent gaming performance and relatively low power consumption. For the motherboard, the Asus Strix B650E-F, it's regrettable that it doesn't support m.2 SATA SSDs. EXPO doesn't work flawlessly, but with some tweaking it works great.

  • Micro Center EXCELLENT, Motherboard is garbage
I want to say first, and foremost, Micro Center is not at fault in the least for this. They are a good, reputable company that did their job in delivering this, this......(insert profane derogatory remark) motherboard and CPU. By the way, I have ZERO issues with the Ryzen 7 5700X. It is a great CPU . Anyway, here goes. I bought this board as a builder repairing one of my own computers having NEVER had an issue with a motherboard from any of the major brands. That stopped the moment I received this horrible pile of metal and plastic. It displayed every known issues at the same time. Out of the box, the M.1 slot did not work, M.2 unknown because while installing the mount screw, with no force at all, it sheared off in the mount. The second PCI-E slot does not recognize my modem. The motherboard had issues even being stable while idling in BIOS until updated, but then displayed system instability under the Win10 environment. Also, three devices/chipsets on the board we listed as unknown in device manager and no drivers were included in package, or on the web that could resolve this issue. I had to resolve with it a 3rd party solution. The SATA lanes are running all drives slower then any of my other personal builds with those same devices attached. The list goes on, but I would like to add that even the "AI Suite 3" app was limited as it constantly reverts to whatever settings it wants when you hit apply for new settings. In general, every boot up of this steaming pile is a crap shoot to how it is going to run , or even populate devices. Strongly recommend with all of the research I have done that you stay as far away fro all of the ASUS B-series boards. Don't believe me? Well, Google is free. Go research all of the known issues for this board and the other ASUS B-series boards. ... show more
