Micoe Pool Heater Company Support

I purchased this Micoe 75,000 BTU unit for my 10,000 gal inground pool. The unit came quickly and was well packaged. When I had my pool installed, I had the builder wire for the heater in the future which made the installation a little easier. This pool location is in Central Florida. I have a background in building so I elected to install the heater myself at the same time I added a salt chlorinator. This made the plumbing easier and more in line with the entire water flow. It's important to note that ball valve placement is critical to isolate various areas of the installation for future requirements. Prior to the purchase I was deciding what heater to get and what size, realizing from all the various reviews with other companies it is better to oversize your heater to the basic pool requirement. After having a bad experience with another company, I decided to reach out first for help from Micoe. Let me start by saying this is a Chinese company with a roughly 13 hour time difference. After my initial questions were sent I received an immediate well written email guiding me through the process. After several email exchanges (that's how you communicate) I felt comfortable enough to place my order. As stated the unit came as indicated above. To say that this company is totally customer focused, oriented and plugged in would be an understatement. Following their guidance the installation started. Every question I had either from an electrical, mechanical or general installation they were there with quick clear directions which I might add was with perfect English. The responses were quick, professional and very respectful. As a side note, in Florida all components of the pool need to be jointly grounded. During one exchange I realized that I needed to modify the ground point on my heater and shared this with the company. What was the result one might ask? Their response was immediate stating my comments were forwarded onto to their engineering design department for consideration. Two days later I received in the mail the part necessary to make the grounding. I had the part needed and did not expect anything from the company. That is a perfect indication how quickly they respond and provide what is needed. After installation I tested the unit. Within 1 day the pool reached 99 degrees. The unit worked flawlessly. It is quiet and looks great. The true test will be in the fall as my pool now in July is always in the 90-92 degree range. Another note...if it gets too hot I can cool it also. The only thing I have not completed is downloading the app to control it remotely. The people at Micoe have sent me the directions and are at the ready to assist. The level of customer service and caring that all the people at Micoe provide is off the chart. I would not hesitate one minute to recommend this company. They are there to help. Have and share photos with your installation so they can review them and provide guidance and feedback if necessary. Note on pictures...... picture 4994 has been modified to eliminate the pvc pipe from crossing high. See other pictures for new location.

Powerful little heater. Easy set up.

Very impressed with this pool heater. It’s tiny but mighty. Summer season is basically over here in NJ so having this heater gives us a few more weekends of use. 15 x 48 bestway soft sided pool. Pool went from 78 to 89 in 48 hours while full time running and with solar cover on pool. We have it running for 12 hours now in evening and continue using solar cover. Water has been maintaining at 88 degrees ! Set up was super easy. Was done in 20 minutes. It’s set up close to the pool which is not recommended but it still works. We close down end of September so we plan to relocate for next year. App set up very easy. Love that I can monitor the temp from anywhere. So far so good and love it!

Not quite as easy as it looks.

Unit was installed less than 2 weeks ago and I am seriously premature in sharing operating results but I wanted to hopefully offer guidance for others. Customer support for simple things like lost parts is ok. The electrical install should be straightforward but their diagrams make it confusing to all but the person who wrote them. Customer service took great pains to get me in contact with an engineer. I had to communicate with him via What’s App which was slow, stressful and frustrating but ultimately fruitful. Basic source of problem - for some reason they show the pump being connected through the 220 heater. I have a 110 pump and had no desire to do that so I left it connected separately. The existing Pentair Easy Touch system became a power supply - not controller - for the heater. They say 50 amp breakers are required You cannot connect loose wires into this as shown in the pictures as it is a permanent outside installation. A waterproof conduit is required and it is a bit overwhelming for the flimsy plastic cover plate for the electrical connections. Have to drill a hole. Connections seem small for recommended 6 gage wire. O ring or spade connectors necessary for the wiring connection. Unit is very quiet - much quieter than my old obsolete non- functional 120k BTU unit but also considerably smaller. Unit took much longer to heat water than the old unit - 3 days to get pool from 68 to 80. (Cool nights). I hope there has been a great improvement in efficiency vs the old one as it cost $15-20/day to run. (First world problems!) Did not want to install the Chinese Tuya App but the removable wired remote is not for daily use. It, the wiring or cover plate will break. Good news - the app is simple and works well. I program the pump to run twice a day for 4 hours via my Easy Touch control box which is all the filtering I need. More good news is that the heater - if set to run on the App - will operate automagically when the pump starts and establishes line pressure. When the pump shuts off, the heater will stop for lack of flow. Operation wise - so far so good.

Easy setup, Good quality and works great to keep my pool at 86 degrees

SO far so good. I have had my heater 3 weeks. took only 18 hours to heat my 16" above ground pool from 68 degrees to 86 degrees. Now I am swimming every day in Maryland when the nights are in the 50s and the days are only in the high 60s or low 70s. I drop it in Eco mode most of the time to maintain and it does well keeping up. Installation was easy and it fit my pad perfectly. Easy to connect once I found the right parts for my Intex Pool. Seems durable although I tipped it over once accidently, it works great

AMAZING POOL HEATER!! AND COOLER!!
This thing ROCKS!! We have a SMALL inground cocktail pool in the Texas Hill Country. Our nights can get to 50-60 degrees F in the early spring, and late fall. Causes our water temp to fall to 75 degrees by morning, and doesn't warm enough to swim comfortably. This heater allows us to extend our swimming season up to two months of either side. Seems very well engineered, and solid! The first time I turned it on, I foolishly set the temp to 100. The next day, it felt like a HOT TUB! Had to turn it off for a couple of days, LOL! Now we keep it at 86-87 F, and it is wonderful! TIP: the heater comes with a drain fitting, but no instructions on where it goes. After a few days of use, it was dumping a judicious amount of condensation on my patio area. I finally lifted it up on blocks and found the hole for the fitting, and attached a hose. Now the water goes where I want it. That said, I highly recommend this little heater! UPDATE: Heater still working great, but I discovered it's other use... it COOLS ALSO! I know, I should have read the manual a little better, LOL! We live in Central Texas, and pool water gets HOT! This unit reverses to help cool the water, and it works!! We have been able to keep our pool at 85 during triple digit weather. Normally it would be 95+! Love this thing!!

This is working awesome! We installed this pool heater in March and it’s been working great. We had a small problem with the wired controller and so I contacted the seller. They sent us a replacement immediately. This has been one of the best purchases we made for the pool. It heats the pool from 60 degrees to 88 degrees in less than 2 days!

This heater truly surprised me! High perfoming unit-heats fast. Water output is 2-3 degrees higher then input from the get go. Istalled on April 12th, ran 4 days (12 hours each day during daylight to maximize my solar system energy use) in 60 degree weather and got my 15x30 semi-inground from 58 to 82 degrees! I swam at the end of day 2 and it was already 75 degrees warm. I had to clarify wiring instructions with Micoe team via email and they answered in 6 hours with clear instructions! Installation and system overview to follow. The app makes the use a breeze- set up on/off and duration or wire to run with your pump.
