Very Very beautiful set! I love love love it! Every day my husband and i drink coffee and tea from these cups. I wouldn't suggest to put it in dishwasher thou. With a few wash the wood is shading off, which is expectable. i would highly recommend it

This is a very nice item to give as a gift, or to keep for yourself for when company comes. This tea set comes well packed in an attractive box. Included in the set are a tea pot, an infuser to be placed inside that pot, four cups and four bamboo saucers. This is exactly as described on the product page. For me, I am not a fan of a wood look, and bamboo is certainly a wood, or at least in my view looks like it is. Of course, as noted this is what I knew it would be and ultimately that is a matter of taste. I would have preferred an all black metallic look, but I have no doubt others will like the set as it is; just be aware that what they say you will get is what you do. Do note that the set is also available in white rather than black. Of course, the real question is how well does the set work? This is a set for making tea, which is accomplished by placing tea, loose or bagged, in the infuser and then pouring hot water therein. The pot has the capacity to make enough tea to fill the four cups that are in the set. Do be aware that the pot will not keep any tea left in it hot, so if that's the way you like your tea either be prepared to reheat any leftover or to brew a new pot. Cleanup is easy-simply wash with soap and water. Given that all the components of the set-the pot, the cups and the saucers-all have bamboo parts I would never place any of this into a dishwasher. There is nothing earthshattering about this set. It has a simple purpose-tea. You can make tea in an old tea kettle and a simple cup, and have it come out pretty much like what this set produces. This set shines however as a gift or if you keep it for yourself when you have friends or family over and want something more than the simple everyday. It makes a good cup of tea, just like that old teapot does, but presents it in a far more attractive light. It marries form and function quite well, especially if you like its look. Whether this appeal to the senses is worth the set's cost is up to you.

This little tea set is adorable. It fits well with the aesthetic of my kitchen. I love the contrast of the bamboo saucers and handles against the white. I am loving it so far. I think what impressed me most was that my daughter dropped one of the cups on the wood floor while washing it and it didn't even crack. Update: The box said microwave safe and when the cup was put in the microwave to reheat some tea, the handle caught fire and fell off the cup. Leaving a strange smell in the house of campfire and chemicals. Updating from 5 stars to 3, which I believe is more than fair for starting a fire. DO NOT MICROWAVE!!! 3/5
