I wanted a large Barefoot Dreams blanket, but could not bring myself to pay the asking price. I have a smaller BD throw and a few sweaters and love them all. I saw an article online regarding BD dupes and looked on Amazon and other online merchant sites at each one referenced in the article. This one received the best reviews. When it arrived, I was prepared to send it back if it wasn't right, but I did not have to. First of all, it was vacuum sealed, which made it seem smaller than what it is. The blanket is big and thick. It is heavier than my BD throw, so it's ideal to snuggle up in now. Secondly, the pattern is beautiful- with the contrast on the opposite side, so you have a choice of which side to show. Oh, this blanket feels so luxurious! It washes well in cold water and dries on low to medium with no shrinkage. Best gift I gave myself in a while - might get another one. ... show more

I wasn't expecting this blanket to be so nice. I feel like a lot of blankets are overpriced and the price point on this is great. It is just as nice as a lot of blankets that are at least $100. I looked at several but someone mentioned it being a barefoot dreams dupe and that’s exactly what I was looking for so I took the jump and I’m so glad I did. Husband loves this blanket, covers his body & keeps him warm. Blanket is soft and has almost a ‘squishy’ texture about it- hard to describe.
