There are five key features I consider important in a pop up tent. Theses are portability, setup, breakdown, durability and effectiveness. This tent is amazingly portable, it starts with the compact size of the assembly when it is closed and ends with the bag. The bag has a full length zipper, cinches to further aid compaction, a hard base to help assembly stand during storage, properly sized wheels to help during transport and two (2) handles to further help transport the tent. The handles are placed for two person carry or one individual rolling the bag on its wheels. Bag is reinforced in all the right places (more on that later). The instructions recommend two people setup the tent. I did not have anyone handy so I did it alone. This does increase the time slightly and difficulty goes from 1/10 to 2/10. In hindsight, staking one leg of the tent with the included stakes would have made this more fluid. The general assembly is super straight forward and took me fourteen minutes from unpacking to fully deployed. If you have never set up a tent before, it may take you thirty minutes. The tent is even easier to breakdown as disassembly is simply the reverse of assembly. The durability of a tent is seen mostly in performance over time but the tent cover is reinforced in all the right places. The framework and legs are made from thick metal which is riveted for smooth operation and to withstand the abuse of repeated setup, breakdown, inclement weather and people bumping into it. The cover even has ventilation flaps to reduce condensation under the tent. The package included metal stakes (not plastic like many others) and guy ropes for each corner. There are also metal stakes for each leg of the tent. The tent is very effective against wind and of course sun. I have not used it in the rain but have no doubts about its performance there. The tent also has three height settings which is really nice to have.

I got this to replace one we had from Academy Sports, which had broken pieces after the second use. This one seems to be of a higher quality. The case packs from the side instead of from above. Which I prefer, as dropping these from the top opening in a bag and trying to shimmy them down can be hard, even with two people. There are several velcro strips placed to strategically secure the fabric onto the structure. It's a nice compact option for smaller setups.

Great canopy. Easy to assemble. Worked great in the sun. Then it started to rain and the canopy was leaking like a colander. Everything we had under the canopy got wet. Would like to get replacement canopy from the seller that is actually water resistant!

After serving for over 7 years, my current 10' x 10' slanted legs tent served its last leg. Decided to upgrade to one with straight legs to effectively get more shade. So far the tent has been great. It took longer to put it together the very first time as the canopy needs to be attached. I leave the canopy on when folding it back, so that expedites the process afterwards. It seems very sturdy. We shall see if it withstands all the travel sports. Love the red push button assembly instead of the thumb press buttons to take the canopy down as it makes it so much easier rather than trying to fit my big fingers in tiny spaces. My only complaint is the carrying bag. It is made to length so if the tent is not fit perfectly, it is very hard to zippered up. It would either take a lot of time with one person, or require 2 persons. IT would have also been a nice feature it the bag had an outside pocket to put the tie down accessories.

I was frustrated at first because it said 1 min set up so I figured I could do it myself in 10. I ended up asking for help to finish pulling the frame all the way apart. I realized at one point it was necessary to stop pulling and push up the dome/pyramid in the middle. Sometimes it was just about knowing exactly where and which direction to apply force. After locking the frame, everything else was intuitive and easy after that. Note pics are on the lowest setting. The height increase was so smooth I didn’t bother going higher because I was just testing it out. Now that I have experienced it once I do agree that it is very easy with 2 people. I still can’t assume I could do it with just one person, but with enough time it could probably be managed. It’s just slow progress to go in circles expanding a little at a time. I was worried about how well it fits back into the bag knowing my experience with camping tents, but it was no problem at all. The whole thing including transporting with wheels on the bag was made to be very easy, but it is sturdy as well.

This is the first canopy-style tent I have ever purchased. Since sometimes I go alone to fairs and festivals to exhibit, I looked for something easy for one person to assemble. This canopy tent requires at least two people for assembly, and it is not that easy even with two people. I've put it up twice, and each time I have had to enlist help.
