For the price I am satisfied. Definitely tie down in some way (I use cinder blocks on the four corners and that has worked well in pretty high winds) because the wind will take it away if not. It is not real heavy when it comes to wind. The worse thing about it is the tie backs on the screens will break quickly and the screen blows into the tent so, it will knock things over or just cover you if you are sitting in it's reach which is basically impossible not to be. The zippers haven't given me a problem yet but I've only had it a month and they are already getting difficult. I can tell it will not last long term at all. Hopefully through the winter at least. I had no shade or covering at my house so , I've really enjoyed it and it does fairly well keeping mosquitos out despite the fact that there are gaps around the tops of then panels. One morning there was a bat that had made its way in, another morning a bird. Spiders like to hide in the curtains but all that is unavoidable especially in the country. Overall I am enjoying it.     • Plastic should be metal
The very top vent point attachment is plastic in joints . The first wind storm 2 of 4 arms broke . Day 3 of being up . We modified with metal. The very Next week storm - other 2 broke. We modified with metal . The first 2 previously fixed held. Now all 4 are secure with metal. We keep on our deck. 4 support legs are bolted into deck . Works great ... show more

    • Directions need some work

Another fella said he assembled by himself, so I tried. You could do it too but not recommended. Much simpler with at least two people during the leg and cross brace assembly. Too much flexing and possibility of compromising integrity. The FIRST STEP of the directions (and the rest for that matter) could use some improvement. Important tip to save you some time figuring things out. When you assemble the two-piece tracks in Step#1. The short side, C/C1 NEED MIN OF 8 HOOKS PER COMPLETED TRAK (or 4 FOR C AND 4 FOR C1) and the long side B/B1 NEEDS 10 HOOKS PER COMPLETED TRACK (or 5 FOR B AND 5 FOR B1). For a total of 72 out of the 80 provided. I added one extra hook to each completed track because once assemble added a hook is not possible without disassembly now you have an extra in case one breaks. I figured this out by having to take the curtains out of the bag and laying out each one. When I saw that they were all the same length. I kinda scratched my head until I figured out the each curtain is designed to kinda of split the difference and cover half the long side and half the short side. If you lay one out, you will count 9 hangers holes, towards the middle of each curtain you will see two hanger holes closer together than the rest of them. The side with 5 holes hangs on the long side and the side with 4 holes hangs on the short side. IF I made any sense at all ...LOL Once you get the basic frame put together, The roof support isn't too bad but do yourself a favor and have two people, both with step ladders so you are not overreaching. ... show more

    • Assembly is BRUTAL!!
Finished product is very nice. Exactly what we wanted for over the grill. Bought weighted sand bags to put around the legs. Howeverโ€ฆ donโ€™t attempt to assemble in the heat! You need two people, and a ladder! You would never think it would be that difficult! Patience is needed.

    • Frame is good but panels are not.

The frame is sturdy. The directions were a little confusing, but we sorted them out. But the zippers on the panels are terrible. Two zipper pulls broke, and the zippers won't stay together on two of the sides. The teeth separate, leaving big gaps where the panels won't stay closed.

    • Slight damage to main vertical support.
Canopy was nice and very well engineered. Assembly was no real problem. One of the four main vertical supports was damaged a bit, dented and slight bend. I was able to use it but is quite noticeable. Did not want to return it for this reason as it still functions as it should. I would suggest all parts have a final inspection before shipping............ Overall rating would be FIVE across the board if not for this. ... show more

    • Perfect for the space.

I live in a 5th wheel camper. I need space to quilt and craft and to store my stash of fabric. This keeps my living area clean and clutter free. The small dogs like that they can go in and out under the sides. The screen sides allow for our view through to the beautiful sunsets.

    • Difficult to assemble

I'm pretty good at building and assembling things and I have to say this was very difficult to assemble. The instructions were severely lacking and if I didn't have experience with this type of thing, I would have given up. The instruction were vague at best. Some of the parts had paint chipped and seemed a little rusted. One of the corner poles had a dent in on the edge. By the time I noticed, I was too far into assembling it to want to take it apart and return it all. Although there are holes in the feet for more stakes, they only sent four. I will be surprised if it holds up to the first gust of wind. Back to the instructions, there was no mention at all of how many hooks go on each side for the curtains, so I had to guess. It's 20, BTW. 10 for the screen, ten for the other. Also, there was no mention that you have to start it in the middle on the short side to get the panels lined up right. For all the trouble I went to getting it up, I hope it lasts. Honestly, I kind of regret not just building a wooden gazebo instead. But hopefully it will work until I get that done. ... show more
