Basically it is a light bulb extension, I purchased a screw in security camera and was unsure as to the length of the glass on my light, so I bought that to make sure it extended below the glass on my porch light.

    • Nifty little Gadget right there I'll tell you what!
Time will tell the level of ruggedness and how long it can maintain Outdoors in the mid East United States within a covered front porch and hanging vertically from the already installed hanging front porch light. Camera weighs about 4 lb and I connected two of the extensions so that I would not have to remove any part of the fixture it does of course completely protrude from the bottom of the hanging lamp and literally took about 8 Seconds to completely install a very nice camera but perfectly utilizes that location to secure the front of our home. That was the handiest little Gadget I've used and sometime and we'll follow up with a response at the time I find rust or erosion from the humid weather in this area of the country and seems of good quality No Doubt so may last for a very long time but I'm sold on it and I'm not going to wait around to get more I'm going to go ahead and get a case or two dozen as these would make great to have when you're not expecting to need it and deserves a place and a toolbox everywhere but what do I know just the old country boy ... show more
