It gets the job done and fills the gap between the OEM stereo (for my 2005 Honda Odyssey) and the new double-din android aftermarket (Atoto A6) that I installed. They *do* work together, but *only* if you trim these plastic pieces quite a bit more. I had to cut the plastic trim down a LOT with my pocketknife to get it to accept the Atoto A6 stereo, and then it was a *very* snug fit squeezing it all into the dash (together with the side pieces that screw in to hold the stereo in place). I don't plan on pulling it in and out often at all, so it gets the job done and generally looks nice in my van now that it's all installed. It doesn't seem to have slipped at all. So, it works! I wish it would've worked out of the box (because whittling it down with a pocketknife wasn't fun at all - and added a LOT of time to my installation), but ultimately it does the job. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Need to cut the support for a double din and the trim ring for the stereo doesn’t line up perfectly. Can’t beat the bang for your buck though replacing the factory stereo with this and a cheap CarPlay radio.

Mine came without the tabs that are supposed to be included in the packaging. I don't know if that was a manufacturer miss or if the fact that the packaging had a rip in it caused that problem. Fortunately, I was able to remove the clips from the old head unit from my 05 Odyssey and put them on this thing to work just fine. The fit of this thing is good, but not superb. Again, I don't know if that's due to tolerance issues with this item or if the Odyssey itself has some sloppy tolerances...or both. Anyway, it does fit and looks good. No problems installing a double DIN unit but the unit i had was a pretty tight fit. It's best to watch a video on YouTube for how to remove the trim and then installation of this is very simple with just two screws since the third from the original head unit is not needed. Overall, I'm satisfied. The two things that could have been better are the inclusion of the missing tabs and the slightly better fit so that things weren't quite as overly-snug as perfection would be. That's why I like it at four stars but not loving it with five. ... show more

Installed a touch screen stereo DVD player in a Honda Odyssey so the aftermarket connectors fit as it should as well as the radio bracket.

Fits well in 2008 Honda Odyssey. Installer put a bead of hot glue along edge where mount & stereo meet. Said it prevents the stereo from sagging in the back, making a gap in the front. Installed using a single DIN stereo. The plastic piece between the stereo on top and the pocket below was slightly warped. Installer said it's common based on how it is packed. He used a heat gun to gently bend it. He didn't do it completely as he didn't want to overheat the material. Said to use a shim during the summer heat to help shape it. Haven't done that yet, but I will. The pocket has four holes in the back for wiring. I'm a little worried that something small would fall through to behind the dash, but the holes are small. I used the "iOttie Easy Flex2 Windshield Dashboard Car Mount Holder Cradle Desk Mount" above the stereo. This mount is very very sticky and the phone can be located just below the top of the dash and just above the stereo. Used the 4" Amazon lightning cable to hook up iPhone 5 to the stereo's USB port on the front. ... show more

It was almost perfect. The head unit I used didn’t fit perfect so I had to cut a little bit. Fits snug in the dash and doesn’t squeak or rattle.
