This fits right in and works great. It's black, so doesn't match the gray but no big deal. The shelf is very handy. Note that the stock stereo has 2 screws holding it in on the bottom, but this doesn't use those. Not a big issue, you just have 2 screws left over (or just put them back in). I've installed a number of aftermarket car stereos in a number of different cars. Most kits require you to break off various tabs based upon the model of vehicle that you are dealing with. Sometimes they fit well and other times they float around even when following the instructions to the letter. I installed this in a 2007 Hyundai Sonata SE w/ a Kenwood KDC-348u deck. It's a perfect fit. Sure, I would prefer that it would match the gray interior, but after time you don't even notice. It's the most natural looking double DIN to single DIN adapter kit that I've installed by far. I suppose this has as much to do with Hyundai's unique shape for this car than anything (the unit is very specific to the vehicle), but hey, I'll take what I can get. Great product! ... show more

*edit: reordered the item, and the right piece came. perfect fit on 06 Sonata, works great, black so doesnt match dash but you could paint if needed..still a clean look..now lets see how long it takes to get the refund for the wrong part sent Got the wrong item, 99-7321 clearly visible on package, instead of 99-7320.. didnt fit. hopefully it was human error, ordered another one hopefully i get the right one this time ... show more

It's black, so it won't match unless you paint the outboard pieces black too because you probably aren't going to get a paint match for the grey or beige interior of a Sonata. I picked this over the Scosche with the removable pocket because this one seemed slightly more refined and I don't really want a large pocket. Something I can place my Phone into and nothing more is fine. The fit in my 2007 Sonata is OK. Seems like the top edge may have shrunk a little post molding so the overall height is off by a little under 1/4 in. Not really noticeable, and really a pretty good product considering it has to fit to a couple different curvatures. ... show more
