The dash kit has a ton of options for mounting. Take your time and dry fit before removing any unnecessary tabs/brackets. Some people have recommended using a hack saw, which I have done in the past. This time I used a pair of heavy vinyl cutting scissors, which worked as well with a little touch up trimming for the final head unit fit. For my 02 Jeep Wrangler I only needed the top right corner bolt tab and the left bottom corner bolt tab. The harness included in this package worked just fine and came with pre-stripped wire ends. If you are using this for a Wrangler with the arm rest/console subwoofer keep in mind that besides the speaker wires (front, back, left, right +,-) the blue wire powers the sub and will wire to what ever corresponds to the brand radio you are installing. It is typically light blue and labeled as a remote power line. ... show more

Top left tab is said to be for 2000 dodge caravan does not have a place to insert on car. Granted, my vehicle is a 2000 dodge grand caravan. Minor difference. However, besides that, I am very happy and got what I paid for!

Sometimes when you buy something like this you have to modify it just to get it to work. This fit my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 perfectly and let me install a great radio I had from another car.
