  • Does NOT fit Chevy Tracker/Suzuki Sidekick
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I have a 2002 Chevy Tracker and this does NOT fit in my car, even though Amazon claims otherwise. Not even close. I input my car's information and Amazon said it would fit, but there's just no way. It's much too tall to fit in the dash where my stock radio was or even in the receiver trim. It's about a 1/2" too tall - far too much to even barely fit. I'm disappointed that Amazon claimed it would fit because I can't return it since I cut the tabs already. I'll have to figure something out with a Dremel, as the other person with a Tracker commented having to do. Ugh. ... show more

  • Worked well but instructions are a bit vague
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
The instructions attempt to cover all car models that the unit can fit into. Also, the grammar is a little funky due to a not so great translation from Chinese (I shared some of the funny translated statements with my wife). The isometric pictures of the unit in the instructions were hard to figure as there are several tabs and holes. The screw holes that fit to my dashboard were spot on. I had to grind some pieces off to make it fit. In the end, it is working fine and is sturdy. The new radio is secured well. ... show more

  • Gets the Job Done more or less
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I bought this for my wife's car and her new radio. The kit was ordered for her car's make and model but i found that I needed to heavily modify it to make it work. I've been a master certified auto technician for over 20 years so luckily i had all the tools and know how needed to make the modifications. The overall construction is fairly rugged except for the front face bezel which is loose and flimsy when installed. The instructions are very detailed for some cars but very limited for others like my wife's car. I have installed many car radios in the past and when it comes to these installation kits I have never found a kit I was 100% happy with. With that said this kit is better than others I have used in the past and I would probably consider purchasing again despite its flaws. ... show more

  • Horrible instructions and doesn’t fit 2003 Toyota Matrix
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I’ve installed stereos before on different cars without any issues and this kit is by far the most complicated one. Though the instructions are for multiple vehicles and instructions to cut pieces are not very clear. Followed the instructions specifically for my vehicle, doubled and tripled checked the clips I was cutting was specified for my vehicle. Well it didn’t fit had to just hack it up to make it fit .. it at least holds my stereo and in the dash but it’s not secured. I would not recommend this product .. stick to a little more expensive and specific to your vehicle. Hope this helps anyone interested in DIY installation. ... show more

  • Highly Recommend. Solid Install Kit.
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
This is a great installation kit. I have installed a few Scosche/Other kits in different cars, and this one is by far the best. The stereo is really solid in the housing, and it feels truly stock. Metra has a customer for life as far as auto installation kits/adapters go.

  • Perfect fit for my 2006 Chevy Colorado
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I really love this kit. It worked out perfectly for installing a new radio in my 2006 Chevy Colorado. Only thing I would like was if the pocket was a bit taller since it's hard to get my big fingers into it, and I can't reach the back. So if I put something small in there like a flash drive, I have to use a pen to fish it out. That's the only reason I give this four stars instead of five. There is room for a thicker pocket, so I don't know why they didn't make it that way. The only other thing which would make it nice was if it had a rubber, no-slip surface on the bottom of the pocket so that things you put into it don't slide out. I might get some of that no-slip rubbery mat stuff you put in the bottom of drawers and cut a piece to fit. Overall, though, the bracket made a good mount for my radio. ... show more

  • Good kit after some mods.
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
Fit fine in the dash of my 2006 Silverado, but only after removing about six more tabs than the instructions told me to. The bezel was quite flimsy and hard to get in place, but the rest is perfect. Good kit if you don't mind improvising on the instructions.

  • Excellent value
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
Best value for the money. Kit is robust and features a nice 'cubby' for your phone and USB cable. Installed in my 'work beater' 2005 Buick Century. The panel matched up well. Installed the Boss 508UAB which I also bought on amazon for $45.
