  • Worked on my 94Teg
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Installation Kit Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
Great. Had to shave a few screws for my Reciever, too long. Also advised to grind off excess after trimming tabs. Otherwise, works great 👍

  • Plastic, but that's okay
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Installation Kit Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I bought this kit for my 97 acura cl. This kit worked really well. Its designed to fit multiple vehicles so there was some modification needed. Some things about this kit: - Its thick plastic, and it works decently well. I wouldn't test its limits though. - The front, side and bottom pieces are screwed together and that's what gives the kit its rigidity. - The instructions were good, not great. For the CL, all tabs on the ISO (side) mounts need to be removed to fit. On the front bezel, all but A and H tabs need to be removed. The only mount that holds this kit in is the bottom mount (but that's how the stock radio fits so no biggie) I found the easiest way to remove the mounting tabs is to score the piece with a razor or xacto knife and snap off with pliers. -The kit comes with 4 screws to secure the pieces together. and two coarse thread screws that I didn't use. You have to bring your own screws to mount the kit to your radio. I already had an aftermarket stereo in my car that had a custom mount that functioned, but didnt work exactly right. This kit makes the install look correct, all bezels fit right and with everything in place, it holds the radio in well enough. If I get another vehicle that needs a radio kit, this is the one I'll go for. ... show more

  • Complex but works
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Installation Kit Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
This kit is made to fit a bunch of vehicles, so many tabs need to be cut off and the instructions aren’t completely clear with that. But in the end I was able to make a Sjoybring double din fit perfectly in my 2000 Honda odyssey with this kit.

  • Frame fits my car perfect
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Installation Kit Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I only used the frame, the rectangle piece that would outline the radio, to install a double din radio in my 2000 civic ex. The frame fit great but I didn’t test any of the other plastic parts to see if they fit because my radio was short and didn’t require the other pieces. Be careful not to cut off the wrong tabs, follow the directions and look at your radio to be sure. My 7 inch screen didn’t fit in the frame so I had to sand it down, a lot. I don’t know if 7” is the standard radio size though. Hope this helps ... show more

  • This is GARBAGE on a 94-97 Accord!!!!!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Installation Kit Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I have installed many stereos in many cars (at least 5 different stereos through 9 different cars) and I can tell you with no doubt in my mind, Metra has created the most expensive piece of crap I have EVER purchased for an install! First, I read reviews, but found myself without too much choice, so I took the chance. For my double DIN radio (purchased here on Amazon as well), Metra decided that the only anchor I need to keep the radio in the dash was 4 little tabs. No screws, no bolts, not even duct tape! Once I adjusted the kit for my car (1996 Accord), it was VERY clear that it wasn't going to work. The radio is free to slide around in the dash and even OUT. Metra created a one kit fits none here! I ended up using the piece intended for my car as JUST A TRIM RING (that is all it was anyway). Took the platform intended for the 97-01 Prelude and cut the front tab off as well as most of the rear vertical pieces leaving just enough to cradle the rear of my stereo and keep it from sliding backwards. I then took some 1" by 1" pre-drilled angle iron (think about what a garage door opener is hung with)and clamped the Prelude shelf under the head unit using some M5 screws provided with the stereo. The angle iron wraps from under the plastic shelf up the sides of the stereo. The bottom is not attached to anything and the sides are attached to the stereo. If it weren't for the glorified trim ring, I would have completely wasted my money on this purchase. Buyer beware.... the reviews are crap for good reason. If you are handy at fabbing up fixes for garbage, you should be okay... if you are looking for a straight forward install with no headaches, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT! ... show more

  • Installed with ATOTO A6 Unit......Its ok....
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Installation Kit Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
Installed on 2005 CRV. The product is a bit of a pain to install, it does not fit perfect but its better than having no bezel at all; but there is not much of another choice. It does not look bad. I'm always wondering when its gonna pop off the head unit, sorta bothers me to be honest; had to remove extra tabs than the instructions said to make it fit. I also sliced open my finger while installing it, so be careful while installing it and take your time. ... show more

  • Instructions were... a little bit confusing.
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Installation Kit Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I read the instructions over and over and over. I didn't want to mess up. Once you get it, you get it but yeah. I was confused for a little bit. Taking the tabs off were a p*** since I didn't have any special cutting tool (the dewalt multi-tool (pictured lol) can only take you so far). I eventually got a small hacksaw to saw off some of the tabs and then used sandpaper to file it down smoothly. It was necessary to use the recommended pieces in order to have my stereo sit flush and not move around. Kudos to that. Initially I didn't use the side pieces because I couldn't cut them properly, and I watched a video where the guy didn't use it either. My radio slide around like a fish out of water. Anyway the installation process was pretty easy... just screw in a few screws and then pop the front plate on and you're GOLD. I would recommended for sure. ... show more

  • Works! 96 Accord mounted properly.
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Style: Installation Kit Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
This worked great for my 96 Accord. Used it to install a Pioneer FH-X720BT double-din stereo and it was pretty painless. You do have to cut off some of the extra mounting tabs on the sides, like it says in the directions. (for Honda application, anyway). This was achieved easily with a pair of right-angle wire snippers, and a razor blade to clean up the cut afterward. The mount bolts to the original mounting holes underneath the radio, and holds it very sturdy inside the mounting hole. The radio lines up flush with the fascia and looks great. Definitely a good purchase. ... show more
