Other than cutting the factory plastic to make the aftermarket double din radio fit and the tiny clips this kit was ok.

    • Pleasantly surprised with this!
I didn't have very high hopes for this since the pictures in the listing are pretty poor but it's pretty much the only option for adding a double din to the van. It's actually a very nice piece. The texture is much nicer than it looks in the picture and it's a perfect fit. It's all the same texture where the stock piece has a different texture or color down the sides. It doesn't look out of place at all. It really looks stock unless you really know these vans. As another reviewer said, you do have to trim a bit behind where it mounts but there was no other way to fit everything. ... show more

    • Difficult and not worth it.
The entire kit is very difficult to work with. The bracket system it comes with is the pits. As a person who has done many deck and amp installs, I would not recommend the swap to a double din on a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. This kit will leaves gaps between the actual dash and the kit no matter how you line it up. ... show more

    • Works but had to modifie
Had to do some opening trimming as radio would not fit . Brackets are junk , if used the radio could not be adjusted up and down correctly to fit into the opening . Plastic is good but was some what miss shaped and is hard to get to snap in place ( sides are flared out a bit to much ) Top is not the same as OEM so there is a 1/8 gap at the top center area . Pocket area could have been left out as it is way to small to be used for much . Can't lay a phone in there so only business cards really fit . Gonna be a junk catch all . All the OEM controls fit nicely back where they belong but the screw holes are a bit to large , so larger screws should be used originals work but you can fee that they can easily be stripped out if tightened to much . Wire harness works but the labeled wires are WRONG ! Google the pin out for the original plug and just go by that . Over all not to bad . Real only had this as an option to use so you live with what you can get . ... show more
