Bought this for a single use application and was at the perfect price3 point. Easy to assemble and disassemble, was a little shaky on the higher rings and we used a step ladder to access the platform (I am over 64, old legs) but we loved it and can't wait to find something else to use it for!!!

I bought this indoor scaffolding to avoid moving ladders around on several indoor jobs I have going. I am a DIY'er but love good tools. I bought Metaltech outdoor scaffolding over the last few summers to work on a house that I was remodeling. Siding and painting and masking. I love the quality of Metaltech products and personally would not buy anything else even if it was cheaper. Thoughtful engineering and good quality materials make up this and my other Metaltech scaffolding. The other stuff is big stuff so indoors was not so good but this smaller version Baker Style is just what I needed. I have a fear of heights and well as vertigo so I need all the stability I can get. I probably wouldn't go up past the one level of these since they are only 30" wide but sure beats moving ladders and reaching for things. Roll this badboy over to where you need it and the rest is easy and safe. I finished hanging the chandelier which was no simple feat since it had 6 wired support different support points on a sloped ceiling. Between this scaffolding and my Bosch laser we got the job done much safer and more accurately that I could have imagined. I did buy the railing system and tool caddy but have not used them yet.     • Great scaffolding, but beware that it is not as pictured!
One of the photos for this scaffolding shows that it has the trap door on the platform. IT DOES NOT! That is either optional, or available on another model of the scaffolding. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it does sour me on future purchases of Metaltech products. Other than that the scaffolding is exactly what I needed for my house building project. ... show more

I’ve used these scaffolds before and found them to be just the right size for residential use. The width makes them ideal for tight locations. Easy to assemble and adjust, I highly recommend these should you need portable scaffolding.

If you are attracted to this scaffold setup, and especially because of the trap door built into the decking, like I was because of the Video… let me tell you that the trap door feature is not included! You must pay an additional $170.00 per board. You must buy it as an accessory. IT IS NOT INCLUDED!!! Buyer BEWARE. It was never mentioned in the description or anywhere else. But it was part of the video and was one of the main reasons I bought it. Now I have to decide weather to return of keep. ... show more

    • Much better than a typical ladders
First of all it's very heavy, and the box it came in was falling apart which doesn't really matter unless your trying to move it inside and pieces of box are coming off in your hand as you move it. That said it's very easy to assemble makes for a stable platform till you get close to the max height. Then it's a little wobbly as one climbs to the top. But these are really minor issues. What is a positive is it's far more stable than the average ladder and a lot less moving around. I have 14 ft ceiling I needed to paint and it's been fanstatic for the job. Bottom line, easy to move, easy to lock into place, ladders on both ends, stable platform till one reaches max height. The same or less for this as apposed to buying a high end ladder and a plus is it disassembles into a very storable piece of equipment. ... show more
