This is a great cabinet - we're using it for an outdoor coat/boot closet (much cheaper than building a mud room). It's also about the same price as the open wire racks, so its a pretty good deal. The fedex guy carried it to the porch, so no problems lifting it ;-) ! It arrived in perfect condition - no dents, scratches, dings, the finish is perfect. All the parts were there. It went together pretty easily (since my husband did it ;-) ). The doors fit properly, are aligned properly and close easily, magnets hold doors closed very well, no loud noises. No problem with coats on 16 or 17" wide hangers - they hang straight. 17.5" or 18" hangers might need to be angled. Our porch is not very level, so having the internal levelers worked great - see picture. It's very sturdy, no wiggling or wobbling. With the black color, it melts into the shadows, so you barely notice it's there, but it's very attractive when you do see it. Hopefully it will stand up to the snow and rain, the description didnt say if it was waterproof/rustproof. Overall, I'm very happy with it. I was worried because of some of the reviews, but I got this brand because it had the most 5-star reviews of all of them. Right decision! ... show more

Nice cabinet The instructions were really clear. However I did need my son to put it together. I am good at putting things together. He had way of solving the problem I had. But the instructions were really clear. Both of us could have put it together. It did, though, create a terrible problem for me. This thing is REALLY heavy. It was dropped off in front of my apartment. Thankfully the weather was dry on a Michigan winter weather day. I simply couldn’t not get it into the building. I carry groceries from the grocery store that is over a mile away. I really could have thrown my back out as I had to take it apart to get it into the apartment. Some of the packaging is actually metal!’ I am over 65. This thing was a nightmare to deal with to get into my apartment. The product itself is good but be prepared for a nightmare if you order it because of how heavy it is. ... show more

it works perfectly, it says it’s a 2 person job, i was able to do it myself and it was pretty easy, the only bad things was sometimes the screws would be weird and was hard to get in but other than that it works great

We bought this to store our cans of catfood in. (Three finicky kitties want variety.) The two top sections hold the catfood and treats while the two lower sections hold towels, microfiber cloths, a wooden stool and an infrequently-used crockpot. PLENTY OF ROOM! Middle-of-the-road magnets latch the doors. They will keep the doors closed unless your kitty sneaks inside and then wants to come out! Also, a 7 or 8 pound cat or small dog can crawl UNDERNEATH the cabinet so keep that in mind when choosing a spot to put this in. Would buy from this seller again. First of all the packaging. Far exceeded my expectations. Secondly and most importantly is the sturdiness of this cabinet. I thought it would be kind of flimsy like an old wall locker but I was wrong again. It is metal to metal so I advise using hand tools, but if you use a power tool start at a lower torque at first.
