I was able to assemble it alone, although it’s recommended to have a second person. This is probably because of the amount of screws that were needed. I wanted a tall bedframe. This was the tallest I could find that would ship to where I live. The frame is tall and allows for massive storage space underneath it. I did not take into account how tall my mattress is. I have to use a step stool to get into bed. Still great.
