Only "complaint" is the lighting on the front isn't uniform. Otherwise, this doorbell replaced my old unit in about 10 minutes, as I had my 7yo son doing the thinking on how to install it. Easy. Pop off old unit, loosen screws holding 2 wires, toss old unit, back two screws off new unit, pop two wires under, fasten them down, place housing over old screw holes, tighten new housing down. I had an issue where I tighten the new doorbell down flush and apparently too tight... it activated the button. It almost sits flush. It's "good enough."

This was a Perfect Replacement for an old worn out Garage Door Button. Had been an EZ install - holes lined right up - wiring setup on back was nicely configured to secure the lil wires - kicked the openers circuit breaker back on n' it lit right up (bright) - nice if goin into a dark garage - adds more lite than a normal lil night lite. The covers well made n also has a lined gasket to help keep debris out n' remain waterproof IF used outdoors but then again will keep any moisture out from the garage air itself if used for this purpose. Overall I can say it should last a lifetime as the other inferior type of yesteryear it replaced did its job for say 20 years or so n' still happened to work thou its lil lite had fizzled out way back when. IF in need for a basic no frills doorbell or a new lil garage door operator - this ones a great value n' will do the job well.

This is such a great metal body doorbell with lighted button! I love that this door is made of metal! My previous doorbell was originally a white plastic which overtime became more of a tan color because the plastic discolored. I don’t have to worry about that anymore because this doorbell is made of sturdy metal the only plastic part on the doorbell is the lighted button. I love the lighted button my previous doorbell didn’t have this feature and I had guest before that couldn’t find my door bell. The light is perfect it isn’t too bright nor is it too dimmed. The installation was easy especially with the straight easy to follow along with instructions. I would highly recommend this doorbell to anyone wanting or needing a new doorbell that is long lasting and easy to see especially at night!

I found this doorbell button to be very well made. The light is very bright which is much nicer than the broken button it replaced. Install was very simply with two screw terminals on the back. Based on the quality of this, I expect it will last a long time.

My old doorbell was starting to give me problems and I decided to try this one out for a try. It took less than 5 minutes to unscrew my previous doorbell and undo the wiring and then get this new one attached. The LED on the doorbell is the perfect brightness, very visible at night near the door. I personally like that it's sleek and modern.

A nice push button doorbell with a metal body and a plastic back plate and button. My intention was to use the internals and LED with my old housing but I did first mount it, as is, to test. No issues as installation is quite simple. The black paint on the screws does strip easily, so a little masking/painters tape on your driver wouldn't be a bad idea. Aesthetically, the white button has two support ribs where the plastic is thicker. This, in addition to the spring mechanism partially blocking the top and bottom, means there isn't a uniform glow from the amber LED as depicted in the listing or as seen installed in my old housing. Not a big deal and I doubt most will care but figured I'd mention it.
