I tried it out the other day and it seems to work just fine. It detected what I was looking for plus some other stuff. I’m new to metal detecting but I feel as a beginner it is a good 1st detector, at a fair price. It is built well and it is light weight and easy to handle. The battery came pre-charged. Even though I am not sure what the settings do yet, it did seem to sense small objects and different types of metals. they were easy to dig up with the hand size shovel that came with it. It also came with a carrying bag. So far, I think I am going to enjoy using it with my grandchildren this summer.

Absolutely NO true instructions to learn! Yes, an instruction book... not INSTRUCTIVE at ALL. NO QR code, and looking it up on UTube... Chinese everything; pushing buttons NOTHING INFORMATIVE! I'm pretty sure this is a good metal detector... I'm just soo ticked that I'm going to have to spend a lot of frustrating time learning on my own & not knowing how to use this like I had hoped. Yes! Great accessories! The shovel & head phones! Just wish I had a video to watch!!!

The design and ergonomics are very good. However, sending it back because does not work as expected. Very slow response. Need to move it so, so slow. Yes it picked on large items on the surface like a pair of pliars and some other middle-sized metal objects. Tends to display silver as the metal except more accurate with large items (like a pair of pliars). Does not do well picking up on metals that are known to be a few inches under the surface. The battery was fully charged for the tests. Went through the manual to manage the menus and reset the device - unfortunately the results did not change.
