Never having been in possession of a true treasure hunting device (lol) also known as a Metal Detector? I was excited to locate one that seems more than one of average in abilities. Even down to the battery details, the entirety seems to be filled with above average details. The battery is a rechargeable lithium one, 14 x more ability to hold than a 9W of the same type. A forty (40) hour runtime, also seems to exceed others that I had looked at prior to finding this one. Making it simple with the use of the popular C charging cable. This also has the ability to define what type of metal you wish to detect, additionally capable of using a "memory" program that returns to the last use and the septics in metal there, so good for bad recollection as I cant recall yesterday to a great degree lately! This will recall what I used the last time as I understand it, helpful for all I would think! There are setting for all metals, and a special mode if looking for Jewerly or perhaps a lost object of the same and you know around the area you lost it? Will help you search over the entire area with an effective way instead of rummaging through grass and bushes aimlessly. I have yet to check out all the different settings yet, but given time I will, and you can always refer to page and check out for yourself all the amenities this detector provides! A storage case is provided, great for keeping when not in use, and also for transporting to an area chosen to search, while keeping all together! The monitor seems to be larger in size than other I checked out previously, easy to read and thats important when on the search of the day! The bottom portion responsible for the detection is waterproof, a must when your searching in the rainy states as I live in. If you accidentally run into a puddle without warning? You can feel secure that the entire was not ruined. There are plenty of things I am sure I am leaving out, I am totally unknowledgeable & unexperienced with machines of this type. I most likely have left out a huge amount of important details, so I apologize in advance. Although I am a total novice, the energy from learning about all the benefits and extras this detector provides are many, and I very much am looking forward to learning all and using in every manner possible. I suggest you go to the page and read up completely, again? Learning through ones on comprehension is the best way to go, at least I think so. I will return to update if more remarkable surprises come to attention, or if the remarkable abilities become less than as the time progresses, only time will tell! But for right now I am so appreciative in ;locating this detector, and looking forward to the upcoming days I can allow more full concentration in usage. Everyone has to start somewhere I think, and this allows a great place to begin! Thank you!

I got this metal detector to have an alternate when we go on our treasure hunts. I did not expect it to be good, and halfway thought it was going to be a waste. Boy was I wrong! This is actually a really nice detector and I'll be using quite a bit. The charging is easy and I love that ability. I do kinda wish that I could swap out batteries, though, because once the charge is done then so are you. However, because it is USB-C I can also bring along a power pack like I use for my phone to charge it up in the wild. They say a charge will last 40 hours, I haven't hit that yet while using it so it might not even be an issue. Assembly is easy. Instructions are included, but honestly the videos in the listing are all you need. The length is adjustable and the arm rest works well. I also appreciate the other videos that show how to operate. Operation is very easy and streamlined for simplicity. This isn't a super-powered Minelab metal detector or anything, but it does do a decent job finding things. I love the built-in pinpoint mode and the ability to set it to look for specific things. For the price this is a very good detector. It also comes with a nice digger tool, headphones, and bag. That was a nice touch!

I researched these ages ago for a little hobby seeking, and even back then the prices were significantly higher than this one, with the same amount of features and extras. It has a simplicity to it, but is also QUITE nice. And it works so well. Get yourself a little censor trowel like you see in the videos, and you can have a dope day at the beach. For the price, the build quality and performance is incredible. I'd consider this if you're researching getting into this hobby. When I've spent a lot more time with this one, and determining whether or not this hobby is for me, I'll come update! Until then, wholly recommend.

While there are some known (as noted in the manual) problems with the cone design, it still does a great job. The biggest problem I've found here is that the location is not precise. Once you learn the direction and offset distance, it becomes easier and more effective to use. I also had an initial problem with volume, but as it turns out, reading the manual is important. This problem was corrected by adjusting sensitivity. Like I said in the headline, this is a good, affordable product.

The unit is easy to set up and seemingly easy to use, but my son and I tried using this around our property for an hour and kept coming up with false hits. We tested it on various coins tossed on the driveway and it worked perfectly. But out in the yard it kept triggering, then we'd use the Pinpoint mode and the target kept moving. I'd dig, find nothing, he'd use pinpoint again and it was 4 inches away, I'd dig, find nothing, he'd use pinpoint again and it was 4 inches away, wash, rinse, repeat. Very strange. We had it on Jewelry Mode to exclude iron and junk, and it kept finding screws and nails on the surface. We'll keep playing with it and I'll update the review if anything changes but this has been frustrating and disappointing so far.
