I have purchased thousands of items from Amazon and this is one of the items I have been most excited about. And I have not been disappointed. This metal detector is something I have been looking for for a long, long time. And finally, I was able to achieve my goal of receiving one. This metal detector is for adults or professionals and it is a foldable waterproof metal detector. It has an 11 inch IP 68DD coil. And it is an interior coil design. It has a back lit LCD Target ID and 12.8 inch deep search gold detector for either your yard or the beach. I got to put it together today and actually decided just to go out in the yard to see if I could find anything and I found this really really old coin. I’m going to take it to a place to have it appraised. Some of the nice features are US DSP Chip, it pinpoints precision, it has a 12.8 inch detection depth, which makes it higher accurate. I like how it has an enhanced stability and a strong anti-interference. It actually has headset support. Has a very large, smart LCD display, a nice handle grip and it’s a really great design. It also has a DDIP 68 waterproof search coil so you can actually put this in the water. It has an adjustable stem of 22 inches to 60 inches and you can customize the different heights. I’m tall so I like to have it at the highest point. A lot easier than having to lean over so much. It also has an adjustable arm length so it’s suitable for all ages. Now there are four search modes for the smarter treasure hunter. The first one is all metal. It will actually detect all types of metal in a very wide search area. But there’s a disc mode which you can have it ignore unwanted metals, and help focus only on the valuable ones. The third one is a notched mode which it will accept or reject individual target categories. And fourthly pinpoint mode, locates the target, more precisely for faster digging. Now the IP 68 waterproof search coil is great for some shallow water hunting, to go through wet sand very easily and it gives you a bigger ground coverage. The search coil is waterproof, but the control box is not waterproof. It is also battery powered, and the batteries are not included. This was very very easy to learn and understand the functions. It is a very high quality metal detector. And for the $190 this is not just worth it but it makes for a great hobby or just some fun time with the family. This metal detector functions well. It was straightforward to assemble and included the required two 9-volt batteries. Levers integrated into the center pole lock the metal detector into position, allowing adjustment from approximately 22 1/2" to 55” in length, making it flexible for different heights. There is a forearm support with a Velcro strap to keep it securely in place during use. The control panel measures about 4 7/8" x 4 3/4" and allows adjustment of sensitivity or focus on specific metal types. The LCD screen is about 3 7/8" H x 1 7/8" W and displays battery level, identifies coin denominations, metal types, and estimated depth of objects. It includes a folding metal shovel that can be used with a spade surface or a pick. It measures about 15 1/2" L x 3 3/4"W. There is also a small Velcro closure bag (6 3/4" L x 4 3/4" W x 2 1/2" D) with a belt loop for holding found items. The package also includes wired headphones that provide an audible alert and plug into the control panel. The metal detector folds compactly for storage or travel, fitting into the included backpack bag that measures about 21" L x 12 1/4" W x 6 3/4" D. I was able to place the folded metal detector, headphones, shovel, and treasure pouch into the bag without any disassembly. The backpack includes a mesh pouch on each side that can hold a water bottle. Overall, this metal detector functions well. I found it performed best when moved very slowly across the ground surface.

I got this metal detector for adults and professionals because I have always wanted a really good one, and I finally got one. This metal detector works really well. I haven't found anything worth much yet because I only tried it for less than an hour due to being so busy. But I did test it on different coins and metals, and it worked great. I also love the PP function because it helps you pinpoint exactly where the item is. It is lightweight and comfortable to hold and use. I like that it's foldable and has a waterproof metal 11" IP68 DD coil and a backlit LCD Target ID. The 12.8" deep search gold detector is awesome. The 22"–60" adjustable stem is great; even my 12-year-old can use it easily. It has 4 search modes and 9 target metal types such as coins, relics, jewelry, gold, silver, and buried metal objects, etc. The DISC mode helps filter unwanted junk. The kit includes: 1x metal detector 1x headphones 1x foldable digging shovel that is durable and works great 1x carrying bag 2x high-capacity 9V batteries Instructions are pretty straightforward and sort of easy to understand. The value might seem high, but it is worth it. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a good metal detector. I love it. Its a lot of fun. And also makes a great gift.

This ULHUND foldable metal detector has a clean look thanks to the internal cabling. No wires wrapped around the shaft. Setup is mostly straightforward. Collapsing the stem is fast and easy. The coil, however, has to be unscrewed and detached to fit in the included backpack, then the screw put back so you don’t lose it. That part is tedious. The backpack itself is a nice inclusion but a little short for the fully assembled unit. It comes with a folding shovel and headphones. The shovel feels well made but I’m not convinced it’s the tool I’d want to rely on in the field. Headphones are a welcome addition even if I didn’t end up using them much. Adjustability is better than expected. Stem length covers a wide range and the forearm rest slides up and down the shaft. The angle of that rest still feels a bit off to me. The back edge digs into my arm more than I’d like. But the unit overall is lightweight, suitable for long duration stuff if you put an extra pad in the armrest. Pinpoint mode works left to right but not front to back. In practice I’m still going to carry a separate pinpointer. Detection itself was responsive in the yard. Target ID and depth readings were useful enough for casual searching. Overall this is a complete kit at a reasonable price for someone getting into the hobby or wanting a portable unit for beach and yard work. It's easy enough to use for beginners to have fun with. The internal cable design and included backpack are pluses. The coil removal for packing and the forearm rest angle keep it from feeling fully refined.

I have not had a lot of time to really use this metal detector on the beach yet, but so far I am impressed. It comes with everything you need to get going, even the batteries. I really like all the accessories that comes with this, such as the shovel and headphones. This has been very easy to use and get going right out of the box. This is lightweight enough to be able to carry for long periods, while still being durable and built well. I have also been impressed with how well it works. I was able to test this in my yard and it picks up metal easily. I like that it is pretty sensitive, without giving you a lot of false readings. This is perfect for any beginner that wants to get into this hobby. It is easy to operate, with very straight forward controls, but works well enough to not cause a lot of frustration. This is an excellent value for the money considering the quality and included accessories.

I've always wanted to try metal detecting, and this detector exceeded my expectations! It was easy to assemble, folds up nicely for storage and travel, and feels sturdy without being too heavy. The backlit LCD screen is clear and easy to read, even when the lighting isn't ideal. The 11" waterproof coil worked great at the beach and in our yard, and I was impressed with how accurately it detected different targets. The depth is excellent, and the target ID feature helped us avoid digging up unnecessary junk. It's been a fun activity for the whole family, and we've already found a few interesting coins and small treasures. Love the black color that doesn’t look like a fluorescent green kids toy. Also love that the mail wire is housed inside the pole instead of wrapped around the inside. The pole length and forearm rest are fully adjustable. The included backpack is so much better than just a nylon storage bag. Works great and includes a detailed instruction manual. Even includes two 9 volt batteries! My only small complaint is that the magnetic disk must be removed for the metal detector to fit inside the backpack - not a problem but rather a minor inconvenience.
