    • Surprisingly useful shop blower for metal and woodworking if you're in the Metabo ecosystem already
Super handy in a metal or wood shop to blow off chips and fine dust, even just for cooling down a metal part a little quicker. If you are already in the Metabo ecosystem, it's a super valuable little tool for the shop. It is not for leaf blowing or yard work. Just where you'd use compressed air but it's too violent or where you'd normally sweep a window sill or bench top or machine. My only small complaint is that I'm right handed and the intake vent is on the left side so sometimes my shorts/pants stop up the intake. ... show more

    • Doesn’t use all the different Hitachi and Metabo batteries.
The battery issue is a big problem but so is the power. I got a second battery and tried it. It has the power of a hairdryer on high.

I bought this product with the understanding that I could use the battery from my metabo finish nailer with this. It will not fit!!! Now I have to purchase a separate battery and charger, which cost twice as much as this blower does!!! BE WARNED, your existing Hitachi/Metabo Li-ion 18V 3.0 Ah battery will not fit on this tool!!! ... show more

This item is being falsely advertised. IT's made in CHINA, not Germay. My Metabo 18v HPT drill batteries do not fit.
