These knives are gorgeous. They are super sharp and seem to keep an edge very well. I really like that the wood handles do not get slippery with wet hands. If anything, they get even grippier. Since this kit cost equally as much as buying all the knives separately, you essentially get the block for free. But the block is awkwardly angled and uses magnets to hold the knives. So, not only does it occupy a large amount of space, but if you slide the knives across the magnets, they can get scratched. So, I've discarded the block and went with a nice neat drawer organizer to hold these amazing knives. Very happy with the knives themselves though. ... show more
