    • Unsafe, poorly designed, poor finish and poor experience.
Very poor finish. Rough edges, blown out nails etc. Bad instructions, unclear and inaccurate. Wrong number/type of screws in multiple steps. Poor quality of screws, broke off a couple from moderate tightening. The screws from the handles are a good 10mm too short, had to supply my own. One of the holes for the legs wasn’t drilled through all the way. Had to drill it out myself. They clearly had to update and try to reinforce the door/bed portion mid-production and it still deflects far more than is safe with just one person on it. I guarantee this will collapse underneath them if you have two people on this bed for an entire night. I’m adding a set of blocks to put under it when in use, it’s absolutely unsafe as it is.     • Quality was low, but it works.
I will attest that as someone who has worked as a carpenter this was time consuming to put together. I had lots of extra screws which was a bit confusing. IMPORTANT NOTE: to get the pistons on you have to let the bed lay back into the box so the geometry allows you to bolt them in. the panels were not great condition. Many of the nails they used to secure the trim had blow outs and then they just painted over the back with similar color paint. The bed panel didn't fit square in the frame. The gaps are tolerable but not professional looking. Despite adjustments available. The quality of the product I'd give 3 stars. The assembly I'd say is advanced. You may want some better screws. Some of the screws twisted off by hand. I'd also recommend some wood glue. overall it works. Its sturdy when mounted to the studs. And it looks nice as long as you aren't a perfectionist, or thinking your getting something premium. Most of the blow out holes they patched are on the back. ... show more
