    • Difficult and frustrating assembly, hardware not well identified
The end result is reasonably nice, however the instructions, videos, and quality control leave a lot to be desired. The images are very difficult at times to determine orientation of the parts. The videos are less than helpful. The part are hard to identify as multiple similar parts are packaged in the same plastic bag with a tiny 1/4 inch square piece of paper with the part number thrown in the bag. So if three sets of screws are in a bag, three tiny pieces of papers with numbers are mixed in the bag as well and you are left to figure out which are which. Some are not even cut right and the numbers are cut off making identification challenging. As other reviewers mentioned, some predrilled holes do not line up and you may have to drill a new path to fit parts together correctly. We also had one of the screws that are used with the cam locks break off and there are no extra ones so we were short. There are no mattress straps included, only pre drilled holes so if you want straps you need to order them separately. Also, the legs start to unscrew and loosen as you flip them back and forth and hand to be tightened. If I'm being honest, these issues really need to be corrected before selling the product to consumers. I am a very experienced builder and this was a challenge and very frustrating for me so be aware. ... show more

Material could have been all solid wood. Manuel ink needs to be bolder and better markings on materials, which made for more time putting bed together. Bed should have lock for upright position. Overall cost for bed reasonable.

    • The Company Stands behind its Product!

Upon arrival the packaging around the bed was so damaged and patched over with additional cardboard and packaging tape, it was apparent that shipping had not done well. . I took lots of pictures. When I opened the box I saw that the main outside frame was damaged exactly where the box was covered with extra cardboard. Not a great way to begin. We were told to get a return shipping label which we did. But we would have to pay for the return, $500 plus and be reimbursed. The package doesn't even fit in the car! With no way to contact anyone. I gave the company 1 star. and a terrible review. Then Stephanie contacted us and with the help of a person all was corrected in a very short time. We were told not to send it back; broken and damaged pieces were quickly mailed to us. I am truly impressed with the company's quick response. Obviously, the bed it very heavy and big, not a one-person job. We now have all the pieces and are putting it together. Thank you Stephanie! ... show more

there were 2 pieces that go on at the end that were too short, the company sent me an entire box of parts, about half another bed, and those were too short as well, also the bolt that hold the mattress in place also fit, the box has all the hardware in it so i can take a bracket and get a bolt that fits ... show more

Great bed! The directions are a little confusing but got it together. Was missing some nuts and bolts but notified the seller and they were very helpful in replacing the parts quickly.
