However, the company quickly responded and resent all the missing pieces, providing excellent support throughout the process. We are now extremely happy with the bed. It’s a beautiful piece that truly elevated the room, and the kids love it too. We believe that what defines a great company is not only the quality of the product when everything goes right, but also how they handle things when something goes wrong.     • This is a decent quality bed that took about 16 man hours to put together over three days

This bed is fairly sturdy, is a good size, as we received full over full. The directions were not as detailed as they should be. Between the directions that were included, a video we found on the Amazon page where we ordered the bed, and a ton of common sense, we finished it. It took two people to do about a third of the assembly. One person can do the other two thirds. All of the parts were provided. They provide exactly the hardware you need. There was not one extra bolt, screw, etc. When installing the parts labeled “I” do not tighten them too much, just enough. The parts labeled “J” were used with the “I” parts and were not well made. I had to make a trip to the hardware store to get a few extra “J”parts as they broke during assembly. They only cost $5 for four extra. Also, do not let anyone over 150 pounds climb the stairs to the top bunk. I don’t believe the stairs were built for that much weight. Overall we are happy with the purchase. Very time consuming to put together, but overall quality is pretty good. The bed is heavy so install it exactly where you want it, would be tough to move it when completed. ... show more

Great bed for someone who has kids that share room. The bed is really save spaces in the room where you have the ability to add more stuff for the kids. It’s very sturdy and it took me 10 hours assemble alone. It costs way too much after adding shipping fee. Shipping alone was nearly $200.

Putting this together has been an absolute nightmare. We've been working on it for nearly a week and we're still not done. The instructions leave a LOT to be desired. And the pieces just don't even seem to be fabricated to fit together. We've had to drill so many holes when holes weren't there; lengthen holes for pegs because the pegs didn't fit in evenly; and now we're stuck because we can't bolt pieces together FOR STRUCTURE because the threads that are supposed to be in the wood to hold the bolts are just completely missing. Save your time, money and sanity and skip this one. I question whether we're ever going to be able to get this put together in a way that is structurally sound for my children. ... show more

Setting up was fine, sturdiness is fine, although some of the bolts pulled out. What bothers me is that I didn't get the complete trundle bed. The top, bottom and staircase are all assembled but the trundle is mostly missing.
