Was a little worried with the price being as cheap as it is, but we are very satisfied with our first hatch only had 1 out of 26 that didn't hatch, and it is very easy to clean, very easy to use, we only used one bottle of water on accident until hatch and still worked out perfect. It also only used about a half of water bottle the whole hatch and the humidity was great. The shorter height really had them all packed in there but I also think it makes the temperature more consistent which led to such a good hatch rate. It was probably the easiest incubator we have ever used everything worked perfectly the value was amazing, the smell was better than any incubator we have used, we we like it better than the nurture right 360 bc of the ease to clean, and are definitely going to get a couple more. ... show more

I have had a few incubators now, and this one seems to produce a lot of splay legs. Im not sure if its the slippery surface or if its a humidity issue. I'll try putting a mat down when I pull the egg rotating tray so the chicks can get a proper grip next go round, but I am disappointed . I have 6 chicks out of 24 with splay legs. ALSO- The quail egg tray will not accommodate cotounix eggs. Perhaps if the tray werent so slippery the eggs would rotate. AS it is, the eggs just slide around the incubator and never turn. I had to manually turn the eggs. They quail egg tray may work with smaller quail, but it WILL NOT work with the coturnix. Good luck! ... show more

I had been having issues with my old incubator so I decided to buy a new one. This model was recommended by my BFF as she has one and has had no issues. It was easy to set up, easy to use, and fun to watch the eggs go round. It is important to note that I have not finished hatching eggs. Some up front advice: do not throw anything away. Included in the kit is some insulation that you need if your house is going to be under 77 degrees. It's easy to throw that away accidently. second, the instructions are not clear. You need 1 to 2 water bottles hooked up for the entire incubation period and can add a third later. You do not need to adjust anything once you have it. It's set to 100 degrees F already and rotates once every 120 minutes. Also worth noting, the heater will overheat eggs if it's covered with anything, so make sure it's away from any obstructions. It contains a handy light for candling. All in all, good device for the amount of eggs you can incubate at once. ... show more

The parts don’t match up- rotator for quail eggs don’t touch the mechanical part that’s supposed to move the bottom. Lid also doesn’t touch to the bottom to be able to seal in heat. Also not included in the description is that if ambient room temp is above 77 degrees-you have to leave it in the styrofoam for it to hold temp as well. Really mad at myself for not promptly opening it up when I ordered it. We were waiting until spring to start up hatching again 😩 past the return window . Very disappointed ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have a didn’t one from this that has thermometer in it where you can see what the temperature is at all times. You can also fix it where you can adjust the humidity. This one you can not do that. It doesn’t have a themometer either.
