It is sturdy, it looks exactly as pictured. However, it was missising screws. And my husband who has built houses was swearing at it while he put it together, I never woukd have managed it. If it was not for that I would have given it 5 stars. Because it is made to last.

Items arrived in long box, including rails, hardware, and side boards. But what appears to must have been a separate box (based on size) containing the pink headboard and pink backboard were not included. Will have to return, which is also difficult based on size and length of box.

You'll need multiple tools to put this together. I had some friends help me and we realized that it's frame does not have predrilled holes, so make sure to predrill the wood or it will split. Also some parts of the wood don't match up well with other parts, lots of pieces are off by a centimeter or a few. Also found out there's a hidden compartment in the back of the frame that holds a bunch of screws and pieces. The drawers underneath are very small and can only hold a boardgame. Overall not worth the price, you're better off getting something from IKEA. ... show more

The bed is not as pictured. The color is much darker. The fabric is different than described. It looks like the backing is more plush but it’s just fabric wrapped around wood. I don’t hate it, but I don’t think it’s worth the price. The drawers roll nicely but don’t go under very easy so that should be taken into consideration if you’re going to put it into a child’s room. The positive is the backing is taller than the inches described in the photo so when I put a mattress into it, the backing was still tall and visible. I’m most disappointed on the color. We added this daybed to our nursery as a place for overnight help to sleep. It is a bit lower to the ground than we were expecting, but we think it’ll make a great toddler bed when our baby is ready to transition.

So this bed was hard to put together, I have to admit I’m not the best at building but there wasn’t enough screws and some other screws that went no where and they weren’t even labeled. And one of the screws just sticks out and well at-lest the drawers hide it. Also the bed came with 4-5 stains, they did come off but still annoying. The drawers are a bit cheep and very little storage. But better than none. Nevertheless, with all these flaws I do love the bed, and I kept reminding myself that it was a deal so I can’t complain. I almost got the white bed, but because of the stains I’m glad I got the yellow one. And I do love the color. ... show more
