The bed is great. Just as described and I put it together myself while pregnant. Only issue is that I sleep with my toddler sometimes and the mattress bows between the slats a lot. Maybe it's the mattress though because it is not the most firm. My father in law will be adding 8 more slats in between the 7 already there to help me. It feels solid though.

We have had the bed frame for about 6 months now. My daughter absolutely loves it and has definitely put it to the test by hanging from the top middle piece and it still stands and holds great. The wooden planks that go beneath the mattress are a bit flimsy in my opinion but so far we haven't had to replace any and my husband and i have both been on it and it has held. The assembly is as expected and we appreciated that the angled part at the top could come off as we moved homes and it made it super easy to get the frame out with minimum hassle. Overall the frame is great! Hope this helps anyone!

This is the cutest bed but it isn’t sturdy at all. I’m having to apply extra screws and boards to make sure the frame stays together. A lot of the boards did not have premade holes to make sure the boards lined up correctly and this made it more difficult to put the screws in. Making the roof was a bit of a nightmare because the holes on the boards did not align to the wood and there were no holes in the wood to help with alignment. Overall it took about 4 hours to put together due to all of the issues. Don’t waste your money.

Bought this for our toddler to transition out of the crib. It is perfect for him, I was worried that it didn’t have rails but it’s definitely low to the ground where I don’t have to worry about him getting hurt. It is so cute! We purchased the full size so even my husband and I can fit in the bed with our toddler for reading, bedtime stories, and sleeping with him if need be. Downside: the top wood and perpendicular wood pieces at the head and foot of the bed do not appear to be the sturdiest. Our toddler loves to climb on them and I can see the wood bow a bit when he puts his weight on it. Not sure how long it will hold up as he get bigger.

I bought this bed for my son as a transition from co-sleeping around 13 months. He’s 19 months now and he loves it. He sleeps wild so I got the full size. But also because some nights/mornings he (or I) just want to cuddle without introducing regression by bringing him in my bed. I have peace of mind bc he doesn’t have a long drop on those nights he “falls” out of bed, and he is comfortable getting in and out with no problem so that encourages him to be a big boy. Definitely recommend.
