this was quite difficult to assemble and I am experienced woodworker. 1. Directions not clear, do not indicate which way to place pieces, which is right, up, down or left and front. Pictures are not clear and easy to assemble incorrectly 2. Not all parts are labelled, either they fell off or were not put on making it even more difficult, since pictures not clear 3. One bag of screws missing, the bags are numbered 1,2 ,3.... but directions called for a numbered bag that did not exist and instead had duplicate of another bag. 4. Assembling with included allen wrench is a joke. Should have included a bit for the hex screws instead. 5. Not all screws matched the predrilled holes and nuts. 6. Upper bed did not sit properly and had to redrill the holes for the holding pins 7. Holding pins were too long and bed did not sit properly 8. As a result of poor manual, poor labeling, assembly took far longer, in fact some parts I just glued and either used my own screws or 18 gauge nail gun. addtional review: The slats are too short and cannot be safely screwed into the support brackets risking collapse of the mattress and serious injury to the child. This is not acceptable . I had to go to the lumber yard and buy more wood so the cross pieces would fit, those that were not already cracked. I lowered by rating to one

I definitely have to make sure my eight year old twins are not too aggressive or rough with us as it with Snap that wood easily if they were to pull or hang on it in the wrong way. Which I know they shouldn’t be doing anyways but kids will be kids. So I don’t think it’s the best quality. It reminds me a lot of poor IKEA quality.

I like that it is wood. It appears to be very strong. However the instructions were very hard to understand and put together. It took me 2 full days to put it together because the the instructions were very bad.
