This bed has been such a great solution for our family. We temporarily have extra relatives staying with us, and to save space we purchased this trundle bunk bed. It’s spacious, sturdy, and holds a lot of weight. The top bunk is rated for up to 300 lbs, though I wouldn’t recommend pushing the limit. I love that the bottom is a full bed under the twin, and the bunks can be separated if needed. The trundle glides easily, which makes it convenient to use. Assembly was straightforward; my tip is to lay out all the pieces first so everything is ready to go. Another feature I appreciate is the versatility. Once our three extra family members move out, we can remove the top bunk and place it on the floor. With the railing all the way around, it will make a perfect toddler bed. Later, when he’s older, we can reassemble it back into a bunk bed again. Overall, this has been a fantastic buy for us; practical, sturdy, and adaptable to our family’s changing needs.

Our family ordered two of these bed frames, and I have some thoughts. Even with power tools (drill and screw gun), it took 6 hours for one bed and 4 hours for the other. We had to drill pilot holes, drill out holes that weren't fully done by the manufacturer, AND use a screw gun to get half the screws into the wood. They're self-tapping screws, so you'd think the screwdriver they recommend is enough but no. You also assemble top bunk first then bottom to stack them, so make sure you have plenty of room! On the flip side, the quality itself is great. It's actually wooden not particle board, and it's very sturdy. It's definitely not gonna just come apart and it looks gorgeous. It will just be an all day DIY project to assemble.

To address some concerns from past reviews. 1. ELECTRIC screwdriver will be needed, especially for the wood screws securing the slats to the frame. It will help if you have "hex head" (allen key bit) for the screwdriver as well. You can still use the allen key alone, but it will take much, much longer. 2. STABILITY: As long as you take your time and properly secure EACH screw, this thing is pretty stable. I suggest re-tightening all screws by hand once assembly is completed, especially if you used an electric screwdriver. 3. STICKERS: Yes, they are a pain to remove but it is what it is. Get some "goop be gone" and you'll be fine. 4. DIRECTIONS: Could be clearer, but if you're visually enlightened and have assembled furniture like this before, they are easy to decipher. TAKE YOUR TIME. Make sure to use the proper screws as there are around 7 different types which look very similar. 5. QUALITY: Yes, this is a bunk bed from Amazon for under $300. It's not going to fall apart but I definitely don't see this being handed down generations lol. Overall, it is great quality for what you're paying. TIPS: Take your time. I built this by myself and it took 6 hours. 2 people could get this done in about 3 hours. First, open the boxes and unpack the parts. Review the directions step by step and familiarize yourself with the parts and how they are numbered. Review the fasteners/screws in detail and make sure not to mix them up, each bag is numbered.

I’m very happy with this gray bunk bed! It was surprisingly easy to put together – the instructions were clear, and all the parts fit perfectly. Once assembled, it felt very solid and sturdy, which was exactly what I was hoping for. My son and grandson absolutely love it – they’ve made it their new favorite hangout spot. It looks great in the room and feels very safe. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable, stylish bunk bed!

Bed is very nice looking and very sturdy; however, it is almost impossible to put sheets on. The mattresses are in so tight you have to lift it up to put the sheets on. Having the ladder attached adds a double whammy. There is absolutely no way to get a bedspread on.

Was afraid to purchase something so big online, but in the end impressed. Took a while to put together, but seems sturdy and safe. Directions were clear. Only thing I don’t like is you can see all the screws. For the price, it’s great!

Let me start by saying love the bunk beds. We got the bed for our middle son, he is now 5. My initial mom thought and prayer was that this new bed would get our sweet boy out of mom n dad’s bed and back into his own. Happy to say it worked!!! Although most nights I find myself waking up on the bottom bunk lol. The top bunk is a twin and the bottom bunk is a full size. There is also a trundle bed that is a twin size(I think) But we still have to get that put together. The bed is definitely sturdy, which is of course a reassuring factor, and a pleasant surprise for the cost(I was a little wary) Both bunks have a generous weight limit 300 lbs(top bunk) and 350lbs(bottom bunk). The room is about 11x11 and the bed is about 5ft tall height and about 5ft wide and about 6ft in length(just a guesstimate) but the actual dimensions from the details are spot on. Lastly the set up, directions were clear and everything was properly labeled. I do believe this is a two person job and although it says no power tools need a hand drill was handy. Not gonna lie it took my husband and I about a total of 6hours over two days to finish it. But we did have plenty of little distractions( a 5yr old and an 11month old assistant) maybe that’s why it took forever ahahaha. Don’t be intimidated by all the nuts and bolts !! There are a lot!! But they all fit perfectly. Overall I’m extremely happy about this bed. It’s comfortable with the right mattress, I love the versatility, so when these brothers get tired of having bunks we can just “un bunk” the beds. Another great purchase!!!
