Assembled this bed yesterday. It does take about 4 hours but helpful if you someone else to assist. The materials are decent for this and I must say they must've listened to the reviews as the instructions are very clear. Each step has a QR code that will show them in video completing the step. Its very helpful. The bed moves smoothly up and down. There are many L brackets for extra support and its great so far! Its fairly easy to assemble just takes time and pay attention to where the boards are and the holes. Also 100% this has to be bolted to the wall which they provide. If you cant bolt it dont get it but otherwise looks great !!

Some of the panels/wood had small dents. I ended up painting the handles so it didn't look bad. I think it would be better if they had a full wood piece along the wall - it looks sort of weird and unfinished. Overall, worth the money. Easy assembly.

I bought this bed to save space in my son's room. It took several hours to put it together. I had to back track several times and flip bords around because the directions are all just pictures and no words. The bed looks nice and I hope it last long but i doubt it. The legs that hold up the bed slides forward putting weight on the frame. If you buy this bed you will need bed straps. When you fold down the bed the matress gets stuck. I would advise you to buy more L brackets for additional support.

Very happy with the quality and the build. For the price, you can't beat the length it takes to build it. It says for 4 people to help, but I did it by myself, which took about 6 hours total. There's a comment in the reviews that says to skip putting the handles on until towards the end...listen to them lol. It's much easier to complete the build with them off. Have a measuring tape ready with Millimeters. Youll need it as the screws are very close in size. They try to put the corresponding number to the parts page in each bag to help, but some were missing. Good to note, I had queen sized mattress that was at least 10 inches (about 2 inches past the lip of the seam) thick without my topper, and there was plenty of space to close. I bought a separate 8-inch bed in a box but kept my original queen-size just in case it fit, and it did! Will return the bed in a box. Another note not mentioned with Murphy beds in general: you'll need some sort of strap to prevent the bed from staying in the pocket when you open it. You can easily just grab it before it fully opens, but I went ahead and purchased some generic straps that should slide underneath the bed slats.

Super nice, very good quality and it's a great value for your money. Many of the other Murphy beds were twice as much money. It's stable and looks great! We had people help us assemble it. It took about 3-4 hours with two people building it. Highly recommend, the white Murphy bed makes the room look brighter and bigger.

Very nice murphy bed of excellent quality. Instructions were fairly easy to follow. But look out for the handle holes in the front panels. We missed it and they were upside down (near the floor) when we got to the last few steps. Too late to change the panels at that point, so we just drilled holes for the handles. It is also very hard to anchor to the wall with the bed section attached. All of that said, this is a nice piece of furniture and worth the money. It is a space-saver in a small room and we love it!

The bed works, but is not very sturdy. Assembly is not difficult but time consuming. I purchased a different Murphy bed years ago that is sturdier with a metal frame, but it cost twice as much.
