This bed is solid. My son's room is on the smaller side so we switched him from his normal bunk bed to this loft bed to give him more space. Putting it together is fairly easy but will require two people. I do not recommend using a screw gun or impact driver on the hex screws because they are soft and malleable which can lead to stripped screw heads. Use the hex took that comes in the kit. It will take a little but longer but you will have no issues with stripped hex heads when disassembling it is required. The instructions are not the greatest. It is hard to tell in the pictures which way some of the posts and poles are supposed to go. You may get one part installed and realize there is a screw hole needed for assembly later that needs to be turned around. Patience is the key to assembling this bed. What we found easier was to assemble the bed first. Once that is done, work on the bottom part. Then lift it and set it on the bottom support beams as you line up the screw holes. This required the help of my wife and my oldest son in order to get it right. Once it is up there and screwed in the rest is fairly simple. As frustrating as it is to install, it is worth it for the sturdiness and quality of the bed. Would recommend 10/10.

I got this bed to act as bunk beds for my 2 daughters. The 13 year old has a couple mattresses on the floor because she's a bit messy and tends to accumulate stuff under her bed, so this works out perfectly (she has high functioning ASD and actually requested her bed have no space underneath for this reason, so I purposely looked for a loft bed). The 6 year old is on the top. They both absolutely love their new bed. The weight limit is like 250lbs so they'll be able to use this bed for as long as they need to. The shelves are a really nice touch as well, and the bed was relatively easy to put together. Overall we're all extremely happy with this purchase!! No complaints thus far.

I’m a single mom of twin boys who share a room. I got these hoping to give them their own space in their room which it has definitely done. I had a friend help me put these together which you absolutely need. I wouldn’t have been able to do it by myself. Let me start off by saying they are great beds and decent quality. The tools it comes with could be better as when tightening the hardware the wrench tends to wear down. The directions are frustrating. The images in the instruction booklet can be so confusing and could use improvement. The first bunk took about 5 hours to put together and the second one took about 3 1/2 as we kinda got the hang of it by then. The ONLY thing I would change about the bed itself would be the steps on the ladders. They are not set in place and are loud, incredibly thin and painful to step on. I had to spend more money on this feature to make them more comfortable to step by adding a foam wrap on to them but it doesn’t change the clanking sound. Why are they so loose? I considered getting separate ladders to attach to the beds but that’ll have to wait. I shouldn’t have to do that, but I just might. My kids are enjoying their new beds tho and I added some mini clip on fans to the side railing for when they sleep as the fan in the room doesn’t reach up to the top of the beds. I also added a clip on shelf/tray so they can keep some water up there and any books/electronics. A bonus is that this bunk comes in a full size. I’m 5’11” and comfortably slept in it one night. Giving it a 4 star rating.

The media could not be loaded. Wobbles just a little when climbing up but that’s expected and I don’t want to anchor it because this is a rental. My son says the ladder is a little uncomfortable on his feet but I will be getting some pool noodles to put on there for him. Great purchase.

The instructions were difficult to follow as it gives you small images with a lot of steps at once, with no writing to stand alongside it. The most anxiety inducing part is how wobbly this bed is. When trying to climb the ladder it almost feels like the bed might fall onto you, and moving even the slightest shakes the whole bed. My mattress meets the size criteria but the barrier to prevent you from falling still feels way too short. The only notably good thing is the quality of the desk pieces, but even those didn't fit quite right in the building process. Some pieces of the bed frame I had to force to match up, which will strain on the parts. It is unstable and nerve racking.

I was hesitant to put this loft bed together as other stated that it was difficult and took a lot of time. The item shipped rather quickly and I got it in three days, but then it sat on the floor for a week and a half in our living room waiting for me to get the courage to put it together. it is quite heavy so lifting the box may need more than one person, but I managed to get it up the stairs by myself. I open the box and organized all the pieces according to Number and then started the bed. It took me roughly an hour and 15 minutes By myself to put the bed together. I did use a drill instead of the handheld Allen wrench they gave the bed seems quite sturdy as I was able to get on top and put the sheets on my daughters bed for her. There wasn’t too much shaking as I was doing so. There was a little bit but that comes with loft beds.

The frame looks nice and it wasn't too hard to put together. I just put it up about an hour ago, and it is very wobbly. I'm going to find something to mount it to the wall for safety reasons.

It’s super cute, definitely need two or three people to help assemble the frame for a few parts. More or less was (kinda) easy to set up. Would totally recommend too because of the super fast delivery. Told me a week and a half and only took two days!!!
