I highly recommend this harness if you have an escape artist like my mini dachshund! She likes to wiggle out of her harness’s and it’s been a pain in the butt to find one that fits her long body comfortably! But still offers security! I love this harness because it has several locking methods to ensure my girl won’t go anywhere! Such as the velcro, clasp and double ring for the leash! We’ve tried a few out here on Amazon and some have been to bulky! If you have a dachshund then you know they go into “statue mode” during walks! She hated her previous harnesses to the point where she wouldn’t move! She will MOVE AND SLEEP in this Voyager one! I’m not getting anything from this review! I just wanted dachshund moms/dads to know this is a great one! I also got their matching collar and I love it as well! It’s a pretty soft pink too! I think it’s a good value for your money! As far as chew resistance it seems to be a sturdy material! She doesn’t really chew it as it’s on her or in her drawer! ... show more

This is a really well-0made product - it's simple to put on the dog (cat), and fits well. Very pleased! I did reorder a smaller size, so... On the other hand, the included leash is not suitable at all for a tiny dog (chihuahua), and would be fine for a corgi! It's too wide and heavy, and I'll donate it to a rescue! I actually wasn't sure about this harness because it wasn't easy to get my 3 month old puppy into it. You have to put it in front of the puppy and then lift his paws into it. BUT we figured out that it was a great tool for potty training! Because he doesn't like it, when we ask if he needs to go out and show him the harness and he runs away, no pee - when doesn't run away immediately, he has to go out. He is starting to grow out of it though, so now we need to buy a larger size. I did try another type of harness that goes over his head and while we liked that one, it had so many plastic clips. I like how this one is all material and the only clip is on the top of his back. Plus, the velcro is only at the top which makes it easy for us to close and make sure it is secure. ... show more

These are the best!! I have 2 cats that wear them and a chihuahua. Quality is great. Sizing is great. My animals adjusted right after putting in. I have multiple colors. It angers me when I see 1 star reviews where they say it rips when it’s obvious your pet has chewed through it. That’s your animals fault not the harness. Animals can chew through a lot of things. Trust me, these are durable. They deserve 10 stars!! ... show more
