First I received the bed frame a little faster than expected from the window Amazon gave me. Given some of the reviews I opened all three boxes and pulled all the pieces out to layout in the room I assembled the bed frame in. I had one broken piece (rail for the center drawer) which isn't required for the bed frame, so I assembled it. I have contacted the manufacturer and asked for a replacement, we'll see how that goes. *Update - Manufacturer was easy to contact, deal with, and sent me the complete box containing the broken piece. From unboxing to, putting on the Olee Sleep Aquarius Memory Foam Mattresses I bought from Amazon, it took me 5 hours by myself. The only hiccups were a couple of the pieces lost their tags so it took a couple moments of looking at the pieces and the diagram to ensure I had it aligned. The only other frustration for me, was the packaging of some of the fasteners, they put some similar items in the same bag, so it took a double check to ensure I used the right ones. I am very pleased with the sturdiness of the assembled piece, even for as light weight as it is. Once assembled, my 5'2" wife crawled all over the bed making it and testing it before any of the grandkids get to jumping on it. I wanted to test out the mattresses my self, so I stretched out my 5'11" 225lbs on the lower bunks without issues, the silly thing didn't even grown or growl under my weight. Even with the broken piece, which I'll hold out judgement, expecting the supplier to replace, I am happy to have this built and in the room, before the grandkids come to Opa and Lola's during their summer vacations.

Love this bed! Definitely helps to have the Beddys zip up bedding because it would be a beast to make without that. The drawers at the foot have nothing to hold them in place so that’s not my favorite, but overall, perfect for my girls.

This bed was extremely difficult to put together. The directions are not very clear, they're hard to interpret and to top it off- some of the holes aren't drilled through all the way. My dad grew up Amish and has worked with wood his entire life. I trusted him to put this bed together and without him, we never would have been able to put this bed together or been able to make this work! If you aren't knowledgeable with wood, tools or know how to make things line up properly to align, I would not recommend buying this bed! It took us 16 hours with the two of us putting it together within a matter of 2 days. (My dad is almost 70 and I'm 33… it was just a lot of work!) As we started assembling the bed, we realized that on one of the footboards there was a pre-drilled hole that wasn't drilled through far enough and there was a large deep crack in it. I called Amazon immediately and they sent me a full replacement bed with no questions asked. (There was no way I was going to use a footboard with a large deep crack in it!) I'm glad they did because as we put the entire bed together, we came to the realization we were missing several pieces of hardware as well as 4 pieces to the bed in my original box! Pros: -3 cabinets in the steps for storage - 1 drawer between the bottom twin beds - 1 "desk/table top" for stuffed animals/blankets on the top bunk - The overall height of the bed isn't that tall so there is plenty of space between the top bunk and the ceiling - Overall this is just the coolest bed if you're a kid! It will make for some awesome fort building! Cons: Horrible instructions can be difficult to interpret, therefore it makes it more time consuming to assemble. -Hardware is poorly labeled and mixed with other hardware pieces. -Missing hardware and missing pieces to the bed I also want to add, this only comes with an allen wrench. My dad had an impact drill with bits that would fit the allen… I couldn't imagine not having the proper tools because hand cranking on this thing would have been a nightmare. My ratings stand due to everything I have stated. Overall this is a solid, safe bed and well constructed IF you know what you're doing as I stated. Just beware- the manufacturer did not pre drill every hole all the way through, some things don't line up precisely and if you don't know what you're doing this might not be safe for your children!

This bed came in two large boxes. They were packed well and none of the pieces were damaged in transit however one of the trim pieces near one of the windows wasn’t painted all the way. It looks darker and definitely doesn’t match the rest of the painted pieces. Almost EVERY single piece that has a larger pre-drilled hole had to be sanded down to fit properly. That was very annoying and took even longer to assemble the bed. Also these holes are exposed and look tacky once assembled. There should be a plug or cover to hide the hardware. We did not assemble the drawers because we would rather add some plastic storage totes under the bed. My girls are 2 and 3 years old and are able to get into and out of the bed just fine. Once assembled and put together it feels very sturdy. Be mindful of the frames dimensions and be sure to buy the correct size mattress because some are too wide for this frame. Overall happy with this purchase and hope it lasts a good while.

So, first off -- our bed didn't come with assembly instructions! Since my husband and I are pretty savvy, this wasn't a real problem for us, but might be an issue for others (be warned). Other than that, the quality is good, assembly was easy and intuitive (thankfully, haha). A couple pieces were a bit dinged up, but for the price I wasn't expecting it to be immaculate. The kids LOVE it and I'm really happy with it. Would have given five stars, except for the instructions.

I purchased for my granddaughters, when the product arrived, the ladder was broken, the company did send out replacement, however, the wood used for this bed is not sturdy, low- quality wood, the wood used on the top bunk is not sturdy at all, pieces came off when a pillow was thrown on the bed. The slat for the bottom twin bunk has come loose and it has bent. Not worth the money spent.
