The finish on this table didn't make it an entire year. I've refinished it - which exposed that this is definitely not solid wood. Two of the chairs have already internally collapsed. Absolutely not worth the cost. For $700, I'd expect something durable enough to get through at least 10 years for a family of four. ... show more

I bought this set and loved the color. The table is sturdy but the chairs are cheaply made. I had company and when they sat in the chair the bottom rail that holds the legs together fell apart. They weren't heavy weighted people!! The chairs are very light weight and slide around on my floor. I wish I kept the box so to return just the chairs but how can I return them with no box?? So I guess I'm stuck with broken chairs. ... show more

    • Misconfigured parts and crushed table
The corner of the table was crushed. It looks like it was coated with some sort of partially cured resin and smashed before it was entirely dry and then painted over. The chair instructions are incorrect and backward. It tells you to connect part C and D a certain way, but it's not possible because the holes are drilled incorrectly. Either the holes or the instructions are wrong---hard to tell which. One chair was completely missing holes in one of the corners. I'm keeping this, as we were able to work around most of the issues, but dang....it was not easy to put together. ... show more
