    • REALLY BAD ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The assembly instructions were horrible - the previous gazebo I bought from one of the big box stores was worse but only because there were no instructions with it (I returned it and bought this one). There is no text to accompany the pictures in the "manual" and it is very confusing. Putting it together is a 2 person job. I am good at assembling things but this one tried my patience. The wiring for the LED lights was installed incorrectly from the factory, it took a lot of time to figure out what was wrong and to fix it. I happened to notice that the solar panel had a place for a battery - I am assuming it requires a rechargeable type but there was nothing to indicate that it required a battery nor was one included. There is no info about which battery to use. 2 of the pieces that make up the roof were damaged and would not fit together. I was able to get them to work after much tinkering - luckily I am a DIYer and have tools. So many of the issues I encountered could have been resolved had the instructions included some text telling you what to look for and how to do things. Now for the good news - for the money (if you are willing to work thru the issues I mentioned) it is an extremely good value for the money and looks great once assembled. Overall great product but no way to steak the screens down to stop them from moving in the wind. As a result, the netting ends up in our hot tub. The only other flaw is I wish the netting was longer so that it can go on the outside of the poles when all 4 sides are zipped up, if there is no way to steak the screening down. That way the screens don't blow into people, food, or hot tub depending on use. ... show more

Had a few problems with this item. First how it was delivered. The box was tore up pretty bad. When we opened it there was something all over the bags the curtains were in, like someone rolled it in dirt. When unpacking the rest of the box we found out the stuff that was on the plastic bags was rust. The rods that the curtains were to hang on were rusted and the paint had flaked off. The pieces fit together ok. The finish could be better some have weld slag and are rough. And it is wobbly after it is done. We will have to repaint it this winter. ... show more

    • Not bug proof, but sturdy

Fairly easy to assemble, but you will need at least two people. One of the pieces came bent, but I was able to bend it with pliers rather than return. The vent on top lets bugs in and the bug screen panels have gaps at the top and bottom. The bug screens did not come with ties, I had to sew on my own ties to the bottom so I could attach them to the poles. The sun screen has ties attached that work well. Overall, I’m happy with it for the price. It’s very sturdy and heavy and I haven’t had any issues with heavy wind. In hindsight I would have gotten a rectangle shape instead of square 10x10 because it looks a little funny in my yard, but that’s just personal preference. ... show more

With two people assembly took about an hour. One thing you can't really see is that there are rivets in the center of each roof panel. When there's a light rain it will drip from these holes but they are positioned in a way that is not as disruptive as I thought they may be. (I know they serve a purpose, to keep the water from pooling on the canopy and creating extra weight). Nice quality, gorgeous when assembled. ... show more

This product is great and was just what I needed for my space and I was able to build it on my own. However it was pretty beaten up in the box I was lucky enough to have the tools required to straighten out and re bend parts that were damaged and the instruction booklet was damaged and not very detailed anyway. ... show more
