Bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift. Got a size medium. He’s about 145 lbs & 5’11”. It fits perfect everywhere and the length is excellent. Would be a bit snug with a sweater underneath but that’s no problem. The coat is warm enough with just a long sleeve shirt. It’s very comfortable. Arms don’t feel restricted. There is a zipper pocket on the inside. The face covering is built into the hood inside. I like the option to remove the fur from the hood and that the hood is adjustable. It doesn’t feel too light weight but at the same time not heavy when wearing, basically what you would expect for it to work and keep you warm. Works well in rain or snow. I’m so happy with this purchase and my husband loves it! Glad I didn’t go with a large for him because it would look too baggy. The color is awesome too. Perfect winter coat! Well I think I covered everything. Lol Hope this helps anyone considering this for a purchase.

Hands down the best winter jacket I’ve ever bought. My mom bought me lambs wool corduroy leather jacket some years back that is my favorite jacket, but that’s a different category isn’t it. Anyway, this jacket is awesome! Spent most of December and January going around northern Germany and Finland and I never even thought about getting cold in this jacket. Granted I’m a hot natured guy to begin with, but this jacket did the job and looked good doing it. It has elastic cuffs and skirt to keep it tight to the body. This is good for keeping in heat and not having the jacket interfere with everything you’re trying to do. Unless something unthinkable happens to this jacket, I don’t plan on getting another winter jacket... maybe ever.

This jacket was built for those -20 degrees with wind chill type days. It’s a bit heavier than I expected, but nothing unbearable. The hood is a bit aggressive with the amount of faux fur (this part is removable) around your head, but it does have a built in face mask to protect your lips/mouth from the harsh cold. Built in mask also works well to wear in a store when you forgot your mask in the car (#Covid). Overall, I will be using this jacket only when the weather dips below negative or in the teens. North Face has done it again with another high quality, warm winter jacket.

My son loved this coat. He outgrew his last coat (he grew 8 inches in 9 months) and I had to buy him this one last minute. He has the height of a man but not the weight. He says it's super warm. We live in the Midwest, it gets really cold here. We got it when it was in sale online because in the store it was over $400. I saved myself almost $150 because my son was okay with the dark green over the blue. It was a HUGE win on my part. This coat will last, buy it!

I have included a picture of the jacket that I took 2/2022. I wear this jacket everywhere unless I’m doing house work and it’s holding up so well. I still love it and it’s still like new. Edit: I have owned this jacket for over 2 years now and I am so glad I made this purchase. The quality of the shell is holding up very well and still looks new. The insulation keeps me warm when the temp drops to zero degrees F. I will be buying another The north face brand jacket when this one is retired in maybe 2-3 more years Original post: I live in the Midwest where the temperature is around 0 degrees F for a few weeks out of the year and this jacket preformed amazingly!

I bought and returned two other jackets that were rated the same as this jacket but they did not block the cold across my back. This jacket is exactly as describes described and my back doesn’t get cold. It’s warm, waterproof and blocks the wind. Fit is great. I’m 5’ 7 inches and 190 lbs. and the large fits perfect. Customer service is great, it came faster than expected with a nice note from sender that they expedited the delivery. The jacket is well made and the zippers are good quality. A great jacket for Colorado winters.

I've had this jacket before quite a few years back. It is very durable and warm for cold winters. The price is great considering the classic colors go for double the price. The jacket is a bit bulky but again, it will keep you warm. I don't usually prefer coats with hoods that cannot be detached but that's the only downfall the coat has. In North Face coats I am between a Medium and a Large. I purchase a medium and it fits perfectly with some extra room for a hoody or extra layer even though it's not needed.

Product came as described I think a Large would’ve fit perfectly but was only a XL left in stock when I bought it but the xl fits well and definitely leaves room for layers but it sucks cause literally received this today and they now have a L in stock 🥲
