This came rolled up in a very tight plastic wrap. Once I opened the wrap, it was happy to find out no smell whatsoever. I followed the directions and let this “air-up” and in only 24 hours it was fully risen. It has many vent holes, and they are all at different angles. The topper itself actually feels cool to the touch. This 2-inch memory foam mattress topper is the absolute perfect fit for my bunkhouse in multiple ways. 1) it is a prefect fit both length and width 2) it adds just enough height allow me to use standard twin fitted sheets. 3) it enhances that much more comfort to our bunks. Thank you Eyobe for this product. I will be certainly be buying another one for my other bunk!

I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this. I've gotten a couple different pillows from this site that claimed they were memory foam but they turned out to be just foam. This topper comes rolled and vacuum sealed in plastic. As soon as I opened it I noticed the smell. I have a memory foam mattress and an expensive memory foam pillow. They both had the same smell when new. I knew right then that this is real memory foam. The smell is not bad or overpowering at all. The instruction's say to give the mattress 24-48 hours to expand and air out. I opened it in the afternoon and used it that same night It was fully expanded and the odor was very light. After putting on my cotton mattress protector and sheets, I barley noticed the smell at all. By the second night the smell was gone. The topper is a true three inches thick. It fits on my twin xl mattress perfectly. The foam can be cut if needed. This is advertised as medium firmness and I'd say that is about right. My mattress is pretty firm. 1-10 I'd give it a 9. This topper I'd give a 5. It is tad softer than I'd like but it's still very comfortable. I've been sleeping with this on for ten days now. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it. The instructions say to give it a week for you to get used to it. I'm glad I did because I'm sleeping a lot better now. I noticed I don't roll around nearly as much and some nights not at all. I think it's down to how much the topper contours around your body relieving pressure points. Before using this topper I sometimes would wake up with neck and shoulder pain. I tried one of those curved pillows but found it uncomfortable. I've been using a rolled up towel on top of my pillow but under the pillowcase to support my neck. Sleeping on this topper has allowed me to remove the towel because my shoulder sinks down into the foam keeping my neck straight on my pillow. This being memory foam it is going to retain heat. The main thing I was worried about was that I was going to be too hot sleeping on this but this topper does a pretty good job a mitigating the heat. It's hasn't been a problem for me at all. I'm really glad I got this. If this is something you think you'd benefit from, I'd definitely recommend it.

I've been sleeping on this topper for about a week. So far its been great. I find it firm and supportive which I like but its also soft. I am a HOT sleeper and wake up sweating everyday and I can honestly say I have not woke up hot or sweaty since I've been using the topper. For that reason alone I highly recommend this product. So far it has stayed but on my bed and doesn't move or slip. If you don't want to replace your mattress this is a good inexpensive product to try.

This topper is comfy but it does not fit like one we previously had. Our son got sick in our bed and our last topper was not able to be saved so we tried this one out and it makes the bed more comfortable but it just doesn’t fit like it should, it’s a little shorter on all sides.

This topper is nice. It adds a comfy plushness to a bed, though it does compress easily. There is no cover on it, like most come with, but that does make it easy to trim to size (I didn't realize I was getting a twin XL, ordered quickly and needed it for a twin bed). Overall it's nice but I would want to pay less for it.
