  • After radiation treatment of prostate cancer . . .
Cancer treatment caused a long term change in my bowel habits which were messy and annoying. I had never used a bidet before but thought I would try it. It has GREATLY improved cleanliness and comfort. It makes life easier and gives me more confidence. For anyone in similar circumstances, I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Excellent.
Be careful because if you open it too much, you'll wash all your internal organs.

  • Who knew?
This product was recommended by a friend and I was skeptical, but now I wouldn't go without it! Easy to install, use, clean and does a great job. Never thought I would be writing a rave review on a bidet, butt there ya go.

  • It washes your backside and... er.. more
My first bidet and must say that it's proven to be well-worth the very reasonable purchase price. I'm certainly not a plumber, but I can route copper, sweat pipes, replace PVC, and a lot of similarly-related tasks. I've replaced toilet parts, fittings, and fixed leaks so installing is well-within my skillset. I've actually been very happy that I purchased this unit. Should have gotten one a long time ago. I only have a few legitimate complaints 1) the white of the plastic is rather different from the standard white of a porcelain toilet, and it looks kinds bluish and weird against the toilet. 2) The included hose is ridiculously long and I had to turn the "T" fitting backwards to get the extended braided hose away from my toilet paper holder and scrub brush holder. 3) The disc-things for installing this under your toilet seat are pretty janky. They were difficult stabilize and keep in place as I was installing the unit. 4) This is a serious one. The T fitting includes a cone-shaped rubber gasket that doesn't seal against the tank fitting if you do not put it upside down. I had dribbles and outright leaks during the install and test because that cone gasket simply climbs up in the toilet supply fitting when I tighten the T fitting. It either leaked because it was too loose, or because the rubber gasket slip up into the tank fitting. Flipping it upside down allowed it to seat properly and I've had no trouble since. 5) This is more of a feature I wish it had. Our house has 100 PSI water pressure. That's pretty freakin' intense on your privates. We never turn the knob more than one or two marks either way. I wish there was something in this to let us get finer control of the pressure. It feels like most of available range is wasted. 6) There are no markings that I discern on the knob to tell me which direction sprays which part of my body. I end up wondering if I am sitting incorrectly or if I just turned on the wrong sprayer. All-in-all worth every penny of the purchase price. Pays for itself pretty quickly with the reduced use of toilet paper. ... show more

  • Almost better than my $300 electric Bidet
I must say, I really like this Bidet. For the price, I would have chosen this one over my $300 electric one. I was worried that without all the fancy electric features it might be hard to hit the bull's eye, and while not as accurate, it is easy enough to adjust while on the seat to have the water hit the correct spot. I must say I don't find much difference between the female and the rear setting, but maybe females would be able to tell the difference. Yes, the water is as cold as the water coming from your cold water line, but in Southern California, this does not bother me. When installing do not forget the rubber cone in the tank valve splitter. I had to take mine apart to add the cone after installing it incorrectly. I also wish they indicated where the Teflon plumbers tape was supposed to go. I ended up using mine and just wrapping all the threads two to three times. My major gripe with this product is it does not have a good pressure regulator built-in (-1 star). This means if you have a ball valve for your toilet spicket your choices may be limited. A gate valve spicket has more control over the pressure. They should have limited the incoming pressure to 1.5 GPM (or whatever is reasonable) so that if you do have a ball valve like me you do not have to micro tune how open your valve is. If you just leave your valve wide open, it can feel like you pressure washing your bottom. This should be easy, they have it for showers, they should be able to have a maximum flow on this (removable plastic insert of course for those who like water coming out of their nose and ears) ... show more

  • Super easy install and better backside
This was my third purchase of this bidet - Since the first time I installed one, I don't think I can live happily without one. Even though it doesn't have a temperature control, the water is room temperature and is completely comfortable. I like being able to control the pressure - you can go from a trickle to a fire hose (Your Butt may vary) It's dual nozzles - one for the backside and one for the ladies. I'm male and do both at times (depending how sweaty the family jewels are) It took me longer to find the right wrench size for the hoses than it did to install it - 15 minutes. The fittings and the bidet itself are very well made and not flimsy - these will last awhile, but make sure other household members know how to use it properly. (Unlike my brother in law who tried to use it like a car's stick shift). ... show more
